"I was referred to MIH after a particularly unpleasant driving experience. I had some previous knowledge of chiropractors, so I thought I knew what to expect; and as a person who feels generally leery of doctors, I was at best only marginally looking forward to being in their care. However, the staff at Modern Integrative Healthcare greeted me with genuine care, professionalism, concern and cheerfulness each and every time I came. The physical therapist tailored my treatments to the issues specific to me, and despite my own dubious attitude, as well as the variety of complaints I described, she actually vastly improved my condition for the better. (And for the record, I think she has the patience of a saint!) Frankly, I'm not even sure where to begin expressing how well the chiropractor took care of me. Not only did she adjust the various misaligned joints in my back, neck, shoulders, hips and spine, but she did it without unduly exacerbating the excruciating pain and discomfort that I was already suffering. From day one I kept thinking that one wrong move to my neck from her could end disastrously for me. Yet despite my extreme trepidation, every time I left her table, I was demonstrably better than I arrived. I can honestly say that she treated me with both knowledge and compassion; and it worked. The ortho specialist was a very interesting doctor. He quickly ascertained that I was not dealing with broken bones and that my reflexes are fairly good, much to my relief. So he gave me the opportunity to discuss issues and concerns with my general health, in addition to addressing behavioral and dietary changes that I needed to make. I respected everything he said because he was straight forward and did not mince words but was still able to maintain a caring and professional "bedside manner". I learned some very key things from him that should assist me in continuing to improve my health going forward. Although I can legitimately say that I have rarely if ever been mistreated by the healthcare professionals whom I have met in my lifetime, I must heartily recommend the staff and treatments at this particular facility. They showed me exemplary care that gave me reason to revisit my objectivity and opinion regarding medical and healthcare treatment overall for the best."
