"I had gone to Dr. Toriello many years ago for a left knee issue and he was excellent. I had been out of the neighborhood for a while now and been having right knee issues so I went to a local orthopedist in my new area upstate. After an MRI he recommended surgery as the only option. I remembered Dr. Toriello and made the trip back for his opinion with the MRI results and disc in hand and was so glad I did. He spent almost 45 minutes with me going over everything that was there. He gave me a thorough examination as well as taking the time out to show me a model of the knee explaining it's parts and where my issue lay. He told me surgery wasn't necessary and gave me a prescription for Physical Therapy. All in all it was a very pleasant experience with a person who took his time to explain everything in detail and answer all my questions and concerns. I would very highly recommend him to anyone in need of his area or expertise!"

"An indecent human being. Does not pay attention to anything that is said to him and reports inaccurate conclusions from his evaluations (or lack there of). A doctor should be first in line when it comes to protecting those who are sick or injured and Dr Toriello is far from that. He is the type of doctor who clearly wants a paycheck and will do or say anything for money. I went to the St. Nicholas Ave location and was unpleasantly surprised in how unkept the office was and how unprofessional the staff is. Dr. Toriello can be a bit sarcastic and demeaning. If you have any say in the matter, I'd suggest to any and everyone to avoid going to this doctor. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed in a healthcare system that supports such corruption from both insurance companies and doctors who play on the wrong side of the tracks."

"Visited the webpage to look over the insurance to check and see if he accepts it and it said yes. Waited all weekend to make an appointment for Monday morning they told me to call back in 10 minutes because the person that puts appointments stepped away from the desk. Call back was put on hold then finally try to make an appointment when I told them what insurance I had they said he doesn't accept it. I told them well on his website it says that he takes my insurance the response to that was that was from years ago & the website is old. Very careless."
