Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center - Eatontown

"I am writing this review in regards to finding a solution to this huge billing issue. I am an HMH employee and went to an HMH facility for physical therapy. To my surprise, I was hit with a $500 bill ($100 for each visit with only PT Christina G.) The reasoning per Horizon: PAYMENT FOR THESE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM DOLLAR AMOUNT PER DAY BASED ON THE PROVIDER'S CONTRACT. THIS LIMIT HAS BEEN REACHED. Christina G. is charging $692 per physical therapy session. On the other hand, Kimberly K. (another physical therapist at the same facility) charged me $425 per session and it got covered 100% because she did not overbill me. Both physical therapists did the exact same thing, reviewed my care plan and had the PT assist (mainly Tony) demonstrate the exercises. I was in and out of the facility within 30 minutes. This is not one to one care, there were times the PT had 4-5 patients at the same time. On my very last day, I even waited for Christina to finish giving Kimberly a massage. I still can't believe the insane amount Christina is charging $692, not even my specialists charge that amount. I have contacted HMH billing, Horizon, customer service at HMH, the facility itself and still continue to get the alerts of my past due bill. According to HMH Plan Year 2025 Omnia Plan: Physical Therapy: Facility: 100% and Office 100%. If all the invoices from Christina G would be billed reasonably- I WOULD NOT BE HAVING TO PAY $500. Truly hoping someone can fix this."

"I had to get a breast MRI and I am truly terrified of anything medical and claustrophobic. I had Kelly as my tech today and she was an angel. She was so patient with me and she made sure I was able to get the MRI done. I know that seems a simple task, but I have tried 6 different times, several locations and I am so claustrophobic I always left. I am so grateful for her today as this was a very important test and I almost left again if she hadn't taken the time to be so compassionate and understanding. Thank you so much for going above and beyond! I will recommend this location and Kelly to anyone in need of imaging !"

"Fantastic, new, and up-to-date location! Opened about a month prior to my visit today. Wonderful and happy staff at the front entrance, who will direct you to where to go. They offer Primary Care Physicians, Pediatricians, Women's Services, Lab Services, and Specialists. (I've included a photo of their pamphlet) Again the staff to the office I visited was extremely helpful and friendly. There was very little wait. The office and rooms were very clean with brand new furniture and equipment. I used to visit their office in Freehold, but will now be making the short trip to Eatontown to visit this location. I would highly recommend."
