"We were referred to Will County Health & Wellness Center & Dr. John Kravarik D.C. by a friend. My son was in a horrible car accident & needed hardware put into his wrist - he had an open compound fracture to his right radius & ulna - his bones were literally sticking out through the skin. My son had 2 surgeries & then dr recommended therapy. My son did therapy for months. The accident happened in Feb 2023 & my son turned 18 in July. It was a fight getting him to go to therapy, although his dr & I explained how important therapy is in his recovery. So, he went, but didn't feel like he was getting much out of it. Idk exactly how long he went - seemed like forever, but then they released him, saying there was nothing more they could do as far as physical therapy & that we should try occupational therapy. My son is only 18 & has plans on being a welder or firefighter/paramedic, but he still has many limitations - he can't even do pushups or open & close his fingers all the way & he has pain from scar tissue. I friend recommended me to Dr. John Kravarik D.C. with Will County Health & Wellness Center. My son & I were very skeptical about seeing a chiropractor - when I mentioned it to my son, his response was "Snake Oil!" Well, my son, Ben LeRoy & I are so glad we tried them out - the first visit is free. The entire staff was extremely helpful & made us feel so comfortable. The office is very clean & relaxing. I only went to initial consultation with my son - he's 18 & I have a very ill mother & serious health problems of my own. I plan on going to Ben's next appt so I can see everything they are doing, but Ben explained it all to me & now he's actually looking forward to going to therapy, where the last place I had to force him to go - he felt it was a waste of time, but he's very happy & excited about the progress he's made in just a short time. We highly recommend Dr. Kravarik D.C. & Will County Health & Wellness Center. You're first visit is free, so you have nothing to lose. I will recommend them to all my friends & family."
