Testimonials

"Tony Gamblin at the South Loop Athletico is amazing! He has been supportive, professional, an expert in PT and crucial to my recovery from rotator cuff surgery. I would recommend him 110%! Also Veronica at the front desk is super organized and helpful navigating insurance and appointments. My only complaint is the South Loop location has an issue with the heat in the winter as staff and clients kept their jackets on. The landlord needs to add fans and fix the HVAC asap."

"This place is such a gem! It's got a small, but very dedicated, experienced, and friendly staff with loyal clientele. Tony at Athletico has been such an incredible partner and coach in my neck recovery. I've been going here for a mere 3 weeks and have already experienced significant improvement in my pain, mobility, and strength. Highly recommend!!"

"Rachel really helped me with my shin splint for my marathon. She gave me useful exercises and also did ice massage and dry needling to help alleviate the shin pain. As a result, I did not get any pain during my race. Highly recommend Athletico South Loop. They will take good care of you. Thanks, Rachel, Veronica and Laura!"

"Athletico is the best. Patient, concerned, and wonderful therapists as they work with you to return to a normal state. We always started on time, and the exercises were perfect for my condition. They graduate you with exercises based on your ability and progress. I walked in with pain and limited mobility. I walked out feeling great with full mobility and no pain. Bravo."

Jackie DeSalle

"I came into Athletico with an unstable left knee that had had 2 previous surgeries (ACL tear and knee replacement). I was facing down a 3rd surgery when I walked in the door. I left after 14 sessions mostly pain free and enjoying a multitude of activities I thought I would never be able to enjoy again. Well done Nicole and Taylor."

"I have been going to Athletico South Loop for four weeks now and am very thankful for their support and services! I came in with acute & sudden low back pain that was basically constant & debilitating. The pain has since improved, as has my functionality, which I believe is due to the exercise program that Athletico has built for me. Taylor has been my PT and working with her has been awesome--I feel that she really listens to my concerns and adapts my exercise program based on my needs (the exercises she's recommended for me also address some chronic problems I've had with my hip, which is great). Even in the past month, I've felt myself getting stronger, and I look forward to progressing further (will hopefully be pain-free within a month or two!). I have been to other PT clinics in the past but this is the first time I've seen real improvement with a program. I also feel really comfortable within the clinic; everyone is supportive and welcoming, and Veronica at the front desk is very helpful and kind. Thanks to Taylor & John & Athletico for helping me feel better!"

"I recently finished 12 weeks of therapy for a fractured collarbone. The facility is nice and all of the therapists are amazing. They kept the kept exercises creative and gradually challenged me to help me regain strength and mobility. The team takes the time to educate you about your injury and what muscles each exercise works and how it helps in your recovery. The team is professional yet fun and friendly. Honestly coming to PT was kind of a highlight of my week. Highly recommend!"

Jordan Garretson

"Rachel was excellent! Clearly knows her stuff but still makes space to listen and adjust based on the patient. Great sense of humor too--goes a long way when you're working through pain/discomfort."
