"I just need to highlight my experience for today. This does not define all my other good experiences for the time I have went there which was about a year and half or so. First of all DEWEY IS A TOP NOTCH ACUPUNCTURIST! YOU WILL NOT GET BETTER CARE, bedside manner, and just an overall caring experience. He literally is the best! Here is what really upset me and made me sour towards this business; since I didn't agree to get a nerve blocking procedure/elective surgery, they are refusing to provide me any additional care. (No more acupuncture) They claim to be a "wellness and pain" facility but it seems to me you need to play by their rules in order to get treatment. I was instructed that I needed to follow their protocols, surgery or PT before I can continue treatment (acupuncture). That is in other words telling me what to do with my body and not what I know is good for my body. This left a real bad taste in my mouth. I would have never thought that a "wellness and pain" place would tell me how to manage my pain and what l'm comfortable with especially that I have been progressing slowly in the positive direction. The PA was only doing her job but who is she and Dr. Molina too, to tell me what is working for me??? In conclusion, I recommend DEWEY, but if their dictation or suggestions are not taken, they cut services off to you. Completely unacceptable especially when you're there to feel well and painless."
"Dr Molina saw me for the first time in October and I had been going to the Wellness and Pain Center for over 18 months. She said that because I was only there for weight medication that she would only refill my prescription one more time and then I would have to find another doctor to continue with my care because I did not "fit" into her wellness plan. This, of course, was said right after I declined a vein procedure that she had suggested. I had tried the massage therapists twice, the first one's hands shook so much It was difficult to relax. The second therapist used rubber gloves on her hands to give me a massage. Again, not relaxing. The acupuncturist was great but then he left and I never saw him again. The IV vitamin drips did not do anything for me and I always had black and blue marks on my arms for days from the nurses who could not get the IV in me on the first or second times. Dr Monika Opalko (PA) is amazing and so is the office staff. But unfortunately, I guess that I did not create enough revenue for the owner and when I refused to have a vein procedure done that was the end of my time there. Dr Molina said that the office was not just there to give weight medication prescriptions. Well, what is the point of getting well? I have lost over 40 pounds in 18 months. I think that is the smart way to get well and healthy. All of the other revenue services are not up to par and Dr Molina is actually contradicting herself when she said that I do not fit into her wellness plan. This center has not only lost a long time client but now has also lost my recommendation. It is so sad to see that owners of a Wellness center put profits over health. Exactly the opposite of her "wellness plan""
"The staff are knowledgeable, passionate, professional, personable and willing to go the extra mile for the health and comfort of their patients!!! I highly recommend good practice."
