"I was fortunate enough to meet Sarah back in 2014 after undergoing knee surgery to repair my meniscus. Fast forward 6 years and I needed her to put me together again after rupturing my Achilles. This last injury happened in 2020 right as the COVID-19 pandemic began. She supported me through my rehab with creativity and imagination as she turned the city of DC into her own personal rehab clinic. We continued to meet beyond my prescribed physical therapy as she knew I needed the attention and guidance. As we met weekly on the National Mall, I slowly but surely regained my strength and ability to run again. Working with Sarah I became a stronger, faster, and better prepared runner than I was prior to my injury. Dr. Weimer is as knowledgeable and dedicated a physical therapist you will find. She is committed to always learning the most up to date practices and methods, and is selfless in her efforts to serve her athletes. Thanks to our work together, I have improved my marathon PR by over 12 minutes and we now have our sights set on even bigger goals!"

"I am a competitive distance runner racing at the elite and national championship level, and I completely trust Sarah with my physical therapy needs. Sarah is a phenomenal physical therapist who gives the level of thought and care needed to have a positive impact on her patients. She is able to approach both chronic and acute injury issues with an academic but practical mindset. In my own experience with Achilles injuries, her approach has helped me go from not running and being barely able to even walk normally to building back to training at full volume & intensity and running PRs once again. I recommend Sarah with confidence."

"I've been working with Dr. Sarah for a few years now and she's phenomenal. She's not just throwing exercises at you and hoping for the best - she puts a lot of thought into getting you to your healthiest self, has studied and understands the varying needs of athletes/humans and keeps things interesting by introducing creative ways to reach your goals. You're in good hands with Dr. Sarah. She's rooting for you and your health and is willing to do whatever it takes to get you there safely."

"I HIGHLY recommend Sarah. After going to several PTs over the years, Sarah is by far the best I have ever gone to. I have suffered from chronic lower back and disc issues for about a decade. I am an active person (soccer, lifting, HIIT) and I recently had thrown my back out badly (couldn't walk for days). I went to a different PT in DC for about a month and wasn't seeing much improvement and was frustrated by the normal stretching and strengthening I was doing there. Someone recommended Sarah to me and I am SO thankful I went. She took a look at the way I walked, moved and breathed and immediately IDed multiple easy to fix issues. After one sessions and a take home plan, I was immediately relieved of a lot of the issues. I went back once more about a month later to check in on progress and build out more of my at home routine. Sarah addresses the root challenges, explains why certain things are happening and gives a robust at home plan so you don't have to go in multiple times a week."

"Sarah is an exceptional physical therapist. I worked with her extensively during my ACL recovery, and to rehab a few minor ailments. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and blessed with a good sense of humor. Years later I still attend one of her fitness classes weekly, and cannot recommend her enough!"

"Sarah is amazing! She was able to diagnose my injury immediately and prescribed a course of treatment involving multiple dynamic exercises that were easy to follow and incorporate into my daily routine. Not only did Sarah solve the injury I presented with, but she saw and treated other areas of instability that I hadn't even noticed. I have full range of motion and am back to running pain-free and faster than ever. Could not recommend Sarah more!"

"If you're in need of a PT who is smart, understands runners, and genuinely cares for her patients, look no further. Doc Sarah is a beloved figure in the running community for a reason. I've seen her for a couple of random issues that have crept up throughout marathon training, and each time she's able to look holistically at the issue and determine root causes. When I walk into an appointment with her, I'm often convinced she'll tell me to stop running, as many PTs do, but that's never been the case. She considers imbalances and gait issues that may contribute to injury build up and prescribes exercises to address strength deficits and slowly return to running as needed. Above all, I feel like I've learned from Doc Sarah through both individual PT sessions and her group strength classes. She's a no-nonsense PT who genuinely wants her athletes to return to doing what they love. Highly recommend her!"

"Dr Sarah will fix you. Period, end of story. More importantly, she will get down the root cause and not just give you a quick fix solution. She takes care to ensure that whatever your injury or prehab is, that it is sustainable. I've seen Dr Sarah for a couple years on and off for a variety of injuries/aggregations related to running, strength training, soccer, and general injury prevention; hips, calves, shoulders, quads, etc. Unlike corporate/larger practices, Dr Sarah gives me her full time and attention, using science backed information. She does do dry needling with electro stim when needed. Can't recommend her enough."
