Athletico Physical Therapy - Lansing

"Sent to Athletico, Lansing, by sports med doc, for chronic low/mid back pain and muscle imbalances. Just completed my 8th session with STEPHANIE WASHINGTON, and I am not kidding when I tell you this woman fixed me!!!! By correcting my posture, and targeting weak muscle groups, the hand-tailored routine she created for me really did the trick! By continuing the exercises at home, I am stronger, more balanced, and most importantly, PAIN-FREE! Rest of the staff are pleasant, and seem to jibe well together, creating an all together pleasant atmosphere. Kim at the front desk is welcoming and efficient. Michael, the "assistant" for lack of a better word, is people-oriented and on task when it comes to cleaning and other job requirements (as was the young lady in that position today, whose name I did not catch). The music is pleasant. Place is small but never overcrowded. 2 nice bathrooms, and a water station so you can wet your whistle between reps. Can NOT recommend this place enough, especially my incredible therapist, my sensei, Ms. Stephanie."

"I have been coming to the Lansing IL location since 2018. Hip replacement therapy in 2018 and now right shoulder rotator cuff surgery therapy 2025. The staff has been great. Kim who runs the front desk is firm but thorough. Extremely pleasant and a joy to inner act with. When it comes to the actual direction of your therapy routines, the entire staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Carolina in particular has gone above and beyond when in comes to assisting me in my quest to recovery. The bond that we have developed reminds me of a older sister younger brother relationship. I am forever grateful and appreciative of the concern and guidance I received. Truly a blessing."

"My experience was terrible. I had an appointment at 1:00pm Iwaited 36 mins for her to say 5more mins. I left. Whats is the point of appointments to have someone sit that long might as well do walk ins.The receptionist was very nice.."

"The place it self is small but cute.. the therapist seemed nice... the rudest person I met there was Kim. When on the phone she doesn't give you a chance to speak... while trying to explain what I am calling for she assumes she understands before even tell her anything ... constantly spoke over me... so to try to fix my problem with being spoken over... I went in person to see if there was someone to speak with ... nope it's Kim again... I tried yet again to speak and she gets up to go print a paper that I have no idea what she is talking about .. she's like let me print this for you... and I still have no idea what she is printing.. Overall she needs a training on how to use her LISTENING EARS, instead of her OUTSIDE VOICE. Because how do you assume you know what a person needs without listening to them."
