Testimonials
"Great experience! Roberto was my physical therapist, and I highly recommend him (and the Garfield Ridge Athletico) to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. Roberto made me feel very comfortable, and was extremely helpful getting me through my physical therapy sessions. Mauricio (hope I spelled his name correctly) was great assisting Roberto, along with the others who stepped in sometimes. The whole staff at the Garfield Ridge location was always very friendly, and ready to assist with any issues, or answer any questions. I'm very happy that I chose the Garfield Ridge Athletico to help me, and would definitely choose them again, if needed."
"I had a full hip replacement. Roberto has been amazing since day one, along with his delightful demeanor. He is part of the reason for my speedy recovery. I am excited to see what the future holds as my hip heals. Let me also add the whole staff is amazing and they all work so well together. They keep the atmosphere light and lively."
"I can't say enough great things about my OT and PT therapists. From day one, they have been professional, patient, and genuinely invested in my recovery. They take the time to explain every exercise, make sure I'm doing things safely, and constantly adjust my program based on my progress and comfort level. What really stands out is how supportive and motivating they are. They push me just enough to improve, but always listen to my concerns and respect my limits. Because of their guidance and encouragement, I've seen real progress in my strength, mobility, and confidence after my surgery. They create a positive and welcoming environment that makes therapy something I actually look forward to. I truly appreciate their dedication, expertise, and kindness. I highly recommend them to anyone needing OT or PT care--they make a huge difference in the healing process."
"I had a wonderful experience at Athletico in Garfield Ridge! My occupational therapist Don is very knowledgeable and kind. The staff is professional but very welcoming. They really take the time to listen to your concerns. My therapist created a customized plan that's helping me get back to a new and improved self. I'd rate this clinic 50/10. Thanks again Gargield ridge!"
"Athletico at Garfield Ridge has been one of the best experiences in my healing journey. Everyone is super friendly, and welcoming. The front desk ladies are very helpful. They go above and beyond. Nathan takes time in getting to know what may be going on with your injuries and explains throughly any questions you may have. He caters to taking his time and still giving you advice and guidance throughout your time at Athletico. You can tell everyone is involved with their patients, and care to know they get better. Would recommend it here to anyone needing any Physical Therapy."
"I want to give a huge shoutout to Roberto Josie Ray MJ and the front desk girls at Athletico. From day one, they were incredibly welcoming, patient, and helpful throughout my physical therapy journey. They always made scheduling easy, answered my questions, and genuinely cared about my progress. Their positive energy and support made a big difference and kept me motivated to stay consistent with PT. I really appreciate how smooth and encouraging they made the whole experience. Highly recommend this location."
"I had a forearm/elbow injury from June and a new neck injury that cropped up from either old age or old injuries or a combination of the two. The arm injury was improving at an impressively slow rate, and the neck was super erratic, so I thought it would be a good idea to get checked out and my doctor suggested physical therapy. I went to Athletico GR because I've had 3 family members go there and had great experiences and I used to belong to the gym when Athletico owned it, so I knew they hired good people. Roberto assessed the injuries, and unfortunately my neck in particular was not showing any evidence of injury, but Roberto reassured me that we will check into it and work with it anyway every time I came in. He gave me exercises that were challenging but not so difficult that I was discouraged or didn't want to do them. Then I worked with Josie who was also super helpful and gave me a lot of good advice and helped me better understand the movements for the home exercises - she helped me see that sometimes the movements are not big or super straining but they ARE doing something. Arcelia was amazing as well; she even looked into a ganglion cyst in my wrist and gave me good advice with a few of the exercises so I actually got a good stretch without hurting anything in the wrist. Roberto continually checked in on me and reassessed my progress, asking what my thoughts were on my progress and the different exercises. He was willing to work with me on things to help strengthen not only the injured area but the areas AROUND the injury so the weaker areas can support the injured area (my left rotator cuff/shoulder was pretty weak!) Roberto tweaked my exercises and tried a variety of methods to help me get stronger. Alexa and Ryan also helped me out with instructing me on exercises. EVERYONE at this location is nothing short of helpful, kind, pleasant, empathetic, sympathetic, caring, and just lovely overall. It made coming something I looked forward to (and I'm not a person that wants to set aside time to take care of myself) and it made it difficult to end. I'm happy I'm feeling better, and I'm happy to have gone to this place. If I ever need a physical therapy tweak or to fulfill a prescription, I will come back here, and I will continue to refer my friends and family to this place."
"After two months or so of therapy after having knee surgery for a torn meniscus, I am officially done! I am beyond thankful for Hamza for his care, patience, motivational therapy he gives. To all the staff as well because that are a true team that works together. I highly recommend this location!"
