"I am only rating this one star because you cannot rate lower. If I could I would be rating -100. My husband had an appointment at ATI for PT for his injuring. Unfortunately, there was a huge storm in the area and our power was out for DAYS, resulting in our basement to flood. So we rescheduled his appt. because we had to deal with a flooded basement. When he rescheduled his appt. he explained what was going on with the power outage and they happily agreed to reschedule. He missed his next appt due to us dealing with so much at home and he called them in advance to let them know that he would be missing. NEVER did they explain their cancellation/missed appt policy. Even when he spoke to someone on the phone, they never brought up what would happen if he missed three appts. We went on their website and they have no policy for cancellations/missed appt listed anywhere. This morning we called to make a new appt and they told us that he can no longer be a patient there because he's missed "three appts". This is completely unacceptable since we were never ever told about ANY policies. They didn't even charge him a cancellation fee!!!! Matter of fact, he never missed three appts. Only TWO. They told us he will no longer be able to be a patient at ANY of their locations. This is just wrong. Every time I have had to cancel an appt anywhere, they have always explained any cancellation/missed appt policies. They refused to let us speak to a manager. They never apologized for them leaving out any policies. This is extremely unfair and wrong in so many ways. We all know how hard it is to find a place that accepts our insurance. We were referred to ATI after his surgery and his surgeon specifically gave him a referral to ATI because of insurance coverage. Now we are having issues in trying to find another place for him to start his PT. Now we are most likely going to have to pay out of pocket for his PT (and we are all aware how expensive that can be). In the future, ATI employees need to make sure they explain all of their policies at the time of a patient's first consultation. Policies SHOULD be included in their websites. We will make sure to let everyone know how bad their customer service is and about our horrible experience."
