Testimonials
"After checking in, I waited approximately 1.5 hours and later learned that my paperwork had been misfiled, which resulted in my name being missed when patients were called. I was subsequently seen by the physician's assistant. While I understand that physicians have demanding schedules, I was not informed in advance that I would not be seeing Dr. Seles directly. Had I been advised of this change beforehand, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether to wait to see Dr. Seles or not. Clear and timely communication would have helped set appropriate expectations and improved the overall experience. I respect the efforts of the clinical team and understand that unforeseen delays may occur. However, timely communication and patient choice are important components of patient-centered care. I would also like to acknowledge that the physician's assistant was knowledgeable and courteous during the visit."
"Went to see Dr Seldes for a second opinion. Never saw Dr Seldes, but saw a doctor who worked with him. He was very thorough. Explained everything in detail. If I was going to have the surgery, I would choose this office"
"Dr. Seldes MAY be a good surgeon, because I don't even think he was the one who performed the surgery, but if you want to be more than a file in a folder in a messy and overbooked medical office, go somewhere else. They are HORRIBLE and upsetting, NO bedside manner and won't even look you in the face most days. They lose files and lab results, there is no communication with patient's family after surgery to let them know that it's done or how patient is doing, I waited until 5:00 am (we snuck upstairs to finally see what was going on) and he had gone home after midnight, I thought something had gone wrong with my mom's surgery because we had been told in advance that Seldes would stop by the waiting room when surgery was over. He didn't and neither did anyone else from his staff or the hospital's. You book an appointment to see him for the follow up but you see an assistant. Maybe you get the kind assistant, maybe you get the rude, younger one who has zero respect for standard ethical practices. He does whatever the heck he wants - including MAYBE documenting the visit and maybe not. He decided to not take any notes from our last follow up appointment to get results. One word: Unbelievable"
