Testimonials
"Without Dr Kebaish I would not be here today! Without a doubt one of the best doctors to have seen me. I had an L-1 burst factual 17 years ago. I was told I would never be able to fly jets again much less walk. Well thanks to him I'm still flying the world over. Thank you Doctor! Warmest respect, Tom B."
"I was referred to Dr. Kebaish by my previous spine surgeon after my 8-year-old L5-L3 fusion needed replaced and extended. I talked with 3 surgeons altogether but felt Dr. Kebaish was the best choice for me. In October 2023 Dr. Kebaish performed a spinal fusion T11 to S1 reconstructive spinal fusion in two separate operations. This operation was successful but unfortunately revealed I now needed a left hip replacement. This was completed two weeks ago. I am now pain free for the first time is about three years. I am very grateful for Dr. Kaibaish, his obvious skills and my excellent results."
"With Dr. Kebaish, I was not so fortunate. I was told a year later that not everybody responds well to a spinal fusion. However, he explained this to me over a year later, and after the result of spinal spasms, more than moderate pain my neck, difficulty turning my neck as well as severe upper and middle back pain. I strongly suggest being your own best advocate by seeking information and individuals who has had your particular surgery as well as a non-invasive care via an excellent chiropractor. Finally, get well and feel better."
"Dr Kabaish is a world famous spine surgeon who I saw multiple times. However, after being scheduled for revision spine surgery, felt I needed additional physical therapy. I Completed that, and faxed supporting papers. I never heard back from him. The My Chart system doesn't work at Johns Hopkins. And he has inadequate support. I Found an excellent and more responsive surgeon at Jefferson Hospital in Philly. Beware of selecting the most famous doctor at Johns Hopkins. It's taken a long time to get to a great slightly younger neurosurgeon. I am now 79 and not getting younger. My Surgery is next month. Hoping for some success. Will give Dr Harrop a review after surgery."
"Dr Kabiash was my doctor for 2 years. But never my revision spine surgeon. After treatment with Forteo, he approved me for surgery. At pre op visit-at last minute-he decided I needed a full body X-ray. From that he decided to post pone surgery until after further physical therapy. Had therapy done and faxed him the results, but he never ever got back to me. Two months later I found another surgeon. Dr Kabiash might have been a great surgeon, but he never spent much time with me. He seemed to have inadequate staff support, "my chart" for Johns Hopkins didn't work and he had a terrible "bedside manner." I wouldn't recommend him for any complex spine surgery."
"From the time we walked into Dr, Kebaish's office we had a totally positive experience from his nurse, to his radiology staff, to his P.A all were welcoming and were genuinely happy to see us. When Dr. Kebaish came into the examining room he was pleasant and gave us the time we needed to explain my condition. After an examination he explained in detail how he would proceed to correct my condition explaining what I needed to do to prepare myself and what to expect for recovery . We left feeling confident in Dr. Kebaish and his ability to give me the care I needed as well as being concerned about the outcome and follow up care. I could not give a more positive review based on our initial interaction. John "Jack""
"I am going to update this review now almost 2.5 years after my 3 spine surgeries with Dr. Khaled Kebaish. If you are needing spine surgery due to scoliosis, prior failed fusions, anything spine related, this doctor is the surgeon you NEED to see. I had my entire spine straightened between 6/28/22 and 2/27/23 in 3 surgeries. I was 57.5 years old going in. I am going on 60 and pain free. He is the best of the best in my opinion. Everything from going into surgery, being truthful, listens, bedside manner, he is great. I am unfortunately not finished as we are monitoring a failed neck fusion from 14 years prior, but I will do whatever he recommends when he recommends. If you want a second opinion to a surgical recommendation from another doctor, have one with him! HE IS THE BEST! I'm going in 6/28/22 and will leave a review a few weeks after. So far he is extremely thorough and understands my fear as I had a fusion a year ago that didn't heal, which Dr. Kabaish showed me on a CT scan he ordered. I developed kryphoscoliosis within less than a year and lost 3" of height but not diagnosed by prior surgeon. He has assured me he will do his very best to improve my quality of life. Looking forward to the outcome!"
"My expectations were more than met. Dr. Kebaish and his staff were very caring and took time to listen to my concerns. I'm now pain-free and working to get my strength back. Dr. Kebaish was one of the very few surgeons who said they would attempt my surgery, and I'm grateful he did. Thank you Dr. Kebaish."
