"I was originally content with my experiences here. However, traveling from Queens to midtown Manhattan on a weekend with the trains running every 20 mins and several delays greatly affected my arrival time to my appt. I tried several times to contact someone to inform them of this but wasn't able to reach anyone by phone so I emailed. When I arrived they said I could do a 15 min session or reschedule for a whole new appt but I would be charged full price for the day of i rescheduled. I kept trying to explain that it wasn't in my control as the subways were running wonky that wknd. So after several minutes of chatting about it they opted to charge me for a "discounted" session (which was minimal at best) that I did not have. Leaving there pretty upset as I spent my entire Saturday afternoon commuting back and forth there, the woman who was supposed to be doing my session was on the phone with the owner, talking junk about me and rudely laughing in my face when I was leaving. I always thought the owner was super sweet as she came highly recommend but the experience I had was so upsetting. I felt robbed and disrespected. I do completely understand that this is a business and they have their policy (which I don't completely agree with especially considering the circumstances were completely out of my control). But I didn't feel that they really tried to help rectify the situation appropriately. I would've been a long time customer with tons of referrals had I been treated right and not been robbed or disrespected."
