And observe the owner's responses, arguing with everyone and never apologizing for not giving adequate service. I'm never dealing with this person again and I advise others to do the same."

"Geez I can't imagine why someone would post a bad review! Mel is hands down the best masseuse I've ever had. I've moved around to several different states within the past few years and make it a point to try out different massage places to find the best one for the duration that I stay in that state. Out of the maybe 100 places I've been (I've been moving around a lot), Mel is the best! She actually works so hard when giving the massage, when all I've noticed with other places is that they apply the weakest pressure, start late and end early. With Mel, I actually feel my knots getting loosened, actually feel my pain getting relieved, and actually feel like the massage is making a difference! If she does start late, she never cuts the session short. With 90% of the massages I get, they always cut it 10-20 minutes short, so I've grown used to that, but was very surprised when Mel gave me the full sessions, down to the minutes! Trust me when I say that she is good! Give this place a try and you will definitely become a regular!"

"Before I left Baltimore in 2019 I had a session here. Mel was wonderful, I got my money's worth of a massage and then some. till this day I have yet to find a massage therapist who can provide the type of pressure Mel provided when I asked for a deep tissue massage. I'm moving back to Baltimore soon and would love more sessions with Mel, years of work physical jobs took a toll on my body but that one session I had here made me feel brand new lol."

"I had the opportunity to experience Mel's skill first hand... and man does she do more than simply massage. Her work is healing. I will say though that she has very strong hands-great for releasing lots of pressure, and deep knots, but be sure to state if that's too much bc she can go deep! "I purchased a voucher for this service via groupon or livingsocial and was scheduled. when I showed up, I'd been given the incorrect address. when I reached out "Mel", the owner immediately attempted to make it my fault. Additionally, she pretended to be one of her employees replying to me from the same cell number. After proving screenshots of my appt confirmation and letting her know that I no longer wanted the service and would be reaching out to Groupon/Livingsocial, she called me and begged me to reschedule and said that I could even get a refund and she'd still service me. Although I was no longer in the mood for a massage, I decided to hang on to her info and reach out for a massage. I did so today and she claimed to have provided a refund. I never received it. She claimed to have remembered the conversation but clearly she no longer cares to make this right as she insists on charging me. She's unprofessional and doesn't care to build clientele by being decent and honest so don't waste your time or money. If she's got to steal money without providing a service, the service can't be too great. ps, to the owner, if you dare post my personal info like you did to the other reviewer you ripped off, I WILL take legal action. grow up, take some business courses and DO BETTER!"

"Update: in response to my TRUTHFUL review, the owner took the step of posting my personal information on FB and is refusing to take it down. Is this a business you want to do business with? DO NOT BOOK HERE! Bought a groupon, then was told that I had to pay an extra $10 as a reservation fee, since that is "standard business convention". When asking why they didn't have this required extra fee listed on Groupon, they blamed groupon saying that they have no control over what is posted. Then they proceeded to tell me I needed to talk to groupon to get a refund if I didn't want to pay their ridiculous reservation fee. They cancelled my appointment and BLOCKED me on Facebook. Poor business practices and terrible customer service!"

"Trust all of these other bad reviews. I am yet another victim of this company's terrible business practices. Save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs, otherwise it will cost you! Mel, the reason your business is going through these "hard times" isn't Groupon or anyone else's fault but yours alone. You are impossible to work with (trying calling this company, the phone is turned off and voicemail box is full), you continuously put your greed before potential and actual customers (losing money in the long run, by the way), and are unsympathetic and unempathetic (opposite qualities one would expect from a massage/wellness company). Being a small business you should understand the importance of providing the best customer service you can, but unfortunately you choose to do the opposite and these honest comments are evidence of that. Please heed this and all the other comments on the various sites about this company. Find a legit company to do business with."
