Testimonials
"I would rather No stars for this Dr. He may be good at his work BUT, his patient skills went out the window. I don't mind the wait at all, but his arrogance, accusations of lying, lack of communication skills, sarcasm, comparing "his younger years of an athlete " to myself as a late 40's old women. He also got upset with me because he asked "what part of my body hurts more, because I said a few body part,he yelled at me & raised his voice" I know many love their job, but this man doesn't. If he was the last pain management Dr. in this earth, I would rather stay with my pain. We are supposed to feel safe without doctors, with him...... I don't......."
"One of the best doctors I have ever had. In 2009 I had nerve damage due to a very complicated surgery (Not surgeon fault). Pain 24hrs and sometimes I had to spend weeks in the hospital being treated by multiple specialists . I could hardly walk due to pain and by 2015 I was drinking 40 pills of different medications a day. I had a SCS stimulator implanted in 2012 but I was not enough and I was like a zombie while taking all those medicine. At the end of 2016out of nowhere I received a phone call from a doctor telling me that a new device was approved by the FDA and that after many discussion at the hospital they believe that I was a candidate for the new device and I I wanted to meet with the team and the doctor that will be performing the procedure. I met with the doctors and was introduced to Dr. Wahezi he explained everything about the device , the procedure, what to expect and recovery time. I had nothing else to loose . After taking the insurance company to court because according to them this was an experimental device and it was not covered but after a few months the decision from the judge came in and he sided with me and the doctors that they had tried everything and nothing help. After getting all the medical clearance Dr. Wahezi perform the surgery. Every appointment that I have with Dr. Wahezi are never a disappointment. He explained everything, very pleasant, always greets me like we are old friends. And always tells his residents about the first time he met me and how I couldn't function in my ever day life not only that but he never takes the credit, he always tell that die to my perseverance that today I'm able to do things that I couldn't do. Every time I need an adjustment of my device, he calls the company representative and gives me an appointment that is convenient to me. Recently I managed to do something that I thought I would never do and that was being able to go hunting in the mountains of Arizona. If I could give more stars I would. Ps. It's very rare for me to give a review on a doctor I don't think I ever had."
"Wish they gave me the option of a NO star!! Where do I start, so I get to the office for a 1:30 appt @ 1:34, Inwas called in @ 2:02, not seen until 2:40 by Dr. Okari (prob spelled his name wrong) spent 20 min explaining and answering repetitive questions, that if he saw Dr. Yussari's (Neuro dr.) notes that would have been all avoided, he leaves room at 3:05 and I didnt speak to anyone else until Dr Wahezi walks in at 3:35 and states I look angry (well yea after 1-1/2 hrs waiting in a room with door closed and in pain you would be too). So he sits down goes over notes and assumes with saying "so since Nov your doing very well" are you KIDDING ME!!! If i were doing well Dr. Wahezi I would NOT have been wasting 2 hrs in your office. So long story short a 3 hr waiting game to a 10 min consultation from Dr. to state there is nothing he can do for me and on top of that with an arrogant attitude. If you visit this doctor BE PREPARED TO WAIT at least 2 hours before being seen!! Would I recommend this Dr. NOT AT ALL!!! And his Boss or Person above him Dr. Shaprin is twice as bad. It was like when you report a cop who did wrong and luitenant covering up the problem. DISGUSTING!!!!"
