"I get a collections notice from this group that I've never heard of; I call the number here, and it sends you to Duly. Duly says I had no billing issues, nothing went to collections.... It would sound like this entity farmed out their billing to an offshore call center, who didn't actually reach out, who then farmed it out to a different offshore collections agency. And when you call them directly, they defer you to Duly...? Do they even exist? It would appear to be a scam at this point."
"Front desk staff are inconsistent and have zero patience or empathy. If you can even reach a live front desk receptionist, good luck because the ladies always act like I am inconveniencing them when this is their JOB. If you do not like dealing with the patients and the public, then do not work the front desk of a medical office. Common sense you would think! Work in the billing department in the back office or something. I am outraged that the office manager and practicing physician allows this type of behavior from the most important part of the office: first point of contact staff receptionist. They have to see that every review is negative and patients are always complaining about this in person as well. I have changed doctors and facilties as my BCBS PPO insurance is covered by everyone so I now go to Dr Goodman in Burr Ridge. His staff is professional and organized. Try them!!"
"Same story as everyone else. 2 months after surgery with Duly, a bill from these guys landed in my email inbox. Never heard of them before, zero attempts to bill my insurance, got nothing but voice mail when attempting to reach a person. This seems like a good place to point out the no surprises billing act is now in effect. When receiving in-network care, at an-in network facility, anesthesiology needs to honor in-network rates. I ultimately got them to correctly bill my insurance, then provide a final bill, that was about 10% of the original statement. This is without a question, the worst billing experience I've ever had with a provider."
"Whoever does the billing for this office is lazy and should be let go. I had a procedure in January. I just got a call that I was sent to collections because they sent me one bill in July I never responded to. Well I moved in June so not surprisingly it didn't reach me. But instead of calling verifying the address and requesting payment they send me to collections?! This is obnoxious, irresponsible and down right lazy. And this office should be ashamed that the run this unprofessionally. I'm easy to reach and always pay my bills on time there's zero excuse for this to happen."
"These guys will bill you $1,500 for 45 minutes of work. They will play the sorry we didn't have your insurance on file game and then send you to collections. You wonder why Colonoscopies cost $15,000, well these guys tacking on extortionate rates to your hospital bill on top of the facility charges and the equipment charges and pharmacy costs are the reason. Stay away and refuse service from these people. They will finically cripple you."
"Had a procedure done 12/2020 that was completely paid for by insurance. 6 months later I get a call from Medical Business Bureau that I never paid for anesthesia. I never got a bill, even though they "sent it to my home address and sent me emails". I did not receive a single bill from them. Now my credit score is ruin even though I have proof my insurance paid for the anesthesia and DuPage Valley is saying I still have a balance. Nearly a year later and it still isn't resolved. Every time I call I get put on hold and no one knows what they're doing there."
"Same experience as above reviews. I received a huge bill in April of this month when my surgery was in August of 2022. I had active insurance then and now completely different insurance. What a nightmare. No service via phone call, hoping to get a response back via email."
