"He said my wrist was only bruised 6 weeks ago after reviewing my x-ray. I had been sure it was broken from my fall. 4 weeks later I went to another orthopedic group where it was evident from the original x-rays from his office that my wrist was fractured. Since I was not casted, the fracture area collapsed and was no longer in alignment. Why was he allowed to continue practicing medicine? I was told today that he "no longer works at the Lanham orthopedic office"....."

"This was the worse surgeon and worse experience I ever had with capital orthopedics.i actually had 2 surgeries by him and the 2nd one was to try to fix the first botched surgery on my left pinky finger that he never fixed correctly and my finger still can't straighten out. It's permanently hooked. He should be barred from performing surgeries.he is very rude as well."

"Dr. Wilson arrived to my appointment 1:15min late while on speaker phone with someone. He is rude as he did not introduce himself of apologize for being late. Unprofessional because he did not review my medical records, specifically, my MRI until I asked him a question pertaining to the results. STAY AWAY from him, he lacks professionalism, bedside manner, and does not appear to care about his patients."

"It's unfortunate to read these reviews 15 years later. I had three cortisone shots in my right wrist before he truly 'heard' me. My wrist was broken from a car accident in the fall/winter 2007. The airbag deployed while holding the steering wheel. His bedside manner was absolutely poor and implied that it wasn't much he could really do for me. I remained in constant pain and daily life activities were impacted. I even had to stop my obline classes. After telling him the third shot was useless, he then 'mustered up' enough doctor knowledge and requested additional x-rays. He then confirmed with xray that indeed the wrist was broken. The scalpholunate ligament had snapped and my wrist bones were just jumbled up together. No apology for what he put me through. Just a snide remark about needing surgery and the next steps. I prayed that I never have to see him again. There are other doctors within the practice to work with for your needs. If I could give zero stars I would. I hope this review helps someone make a decision in their best understanding and for the interest for their health. If you see him first, please get a second opinion."

"I wish I would have read these reviews prior to my appointment. My first (and last) appointment was with him last week. One of the worst experiences I've had with a medical professional (in his case I'm using the word loosely). He comes in and asks me what's going on. I tell him my symptoms, how I've had them over 10 years, and how it's getting progressively worse. I finish and he looks at me and ask what I suggest he should recommend. I'm flabbergasted. I tell him you're the specialist and I'm here for your opinion and options. It goes downhill from there. Previously I've had several Dr.'s tell me I have carpal tunnel, Dr. Wilson argues that I don't then says maybe I have that and something else going on. He then tells me it could be stress related. Over 10 years? He then realizes how ignorant that statement was. Because I keep asking questions, he then tells me he has other patients, becomes dismissive and says he will give me a cortisone shot (even though I had 1 last year and it didn't help much) and tells me to take an anti-inflammatory everyday. He also claimed he does the shot better and I won't feel any pain after he administer it. Basically saying his shot will heal me, smh. This man is arrogant, horrible bedside manners, and seems like he barely passed in medical school. I don't recommend him."

"Avoid this doctor. I wanted to sue him after he messed up my sons hands. My son had webbing, his original doctor was out on bed rest so I decided to go with Dr Wilson, he left my sons ring finger deformed after he performed surgery. I was better off leaving his hands without the surgery. He was rude about it and not apologetic when he realized he messed up. I was dealing with a lot at that time and didn't have time to sue. Any other surgeon is better than him - he left my son deformed for life - I can't believe he still has a job! Avoid him."

"Both professionally and medically, Wilson is incompetent The reviews are true! Two times I was at my appointment on-time and he made me wait 2 hours the first time and an hour the second time. Wasn't apologetic when he came in; very unprofessional. I went to Georgetown the first time and they suggested a minor surgery on my wrist; I wanted a second opinion and came to him. He said no to surgery and said a shot will do. 6 weeks later, my wrist still hurts. I came back and he said another shot will do; 6 weeks later my wrist feels terrible and my wrist is starting to turn red... Both professionally and medically, Wilson is incompetent"

"My son was initially evaluated for a removal of a splinter that had been in his hand for a couple of years. Dr Wilson took the time to explain everything in depth make my son as a 14 year old feel very comfortable with the procedure and even after explained to me how everything went. I was truly well informed and empowered as a mom and woman as I felt to be a part of the team."
