"I recently had my right hip replaced at Union Memorial. My surgeon was Dr Michael Jacobs. My entire experience at the hospital and especially with Dr. Jacobs was fantastic. Dr. Jacobs was very prompt in seeing me, and diagnosing the issue with my hip. Once he realized that my hip needed to be replaced, he had it scheduled within a short period of time. The surgery went great. The hospital staff was very attentive during my recovery period. I was especially grateful for Dr. Jacobs in enabling me to stay overnight after my procedure. Having that initial extra time in the hospital was very comforting for me as well as my family. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobs for anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon for their Hip or knee issues! Everyone at Medstar; from the staff at their outpatient offices, To the hospital, staff were very professional and attentive. I definitely am recommending Dr. Jacobs and MedStar Orthopedics to anyone that is in need of their services."

"The staff is dedicated to safe and consistent care for every person no matter whether it severe care or routine care ."
"I had my left hip surgery done on July 25th by Dr Michael Jacobs, I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs hip and or knee surgery. Before I had my surgery done, I checked the ratings for different surgeons and I came upon the name Michael Jacobs and I read the reviews and they all had five stars with positive comments about this doctor. So I called and made an appointment. Dr Jacobs does not fool around with you he's to the point and I really like that. After meeting with him the first time, I was so excited to get this surgery done because that's how he made me feel. Dr Jacobs and his staff especially the two ladies that I know, Minni she answers the phone all the time at the front desk and Dr Jacob's assistant I think her name is Tanisha these two ladies that I came in contact with are awesome very very helpful. Dr Michael Jacobs and staff thank you very much."
"On Wednesday, 12/20/23, I had an appointment with Dr. Michael Jacobs at Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I called his office, spur of the moment, seeking help for what I thought was a problem with my left total hip replacement. I was having significant pain. The last time I saw Dr. Jacobs was 6 years ago. The administrative front office staff (Missy) listened to my situation and scheduled an appointment within 5 days. Upon arrival to the office, I was brought back to the examining room at the scheduled time of my appointment with no delay. From 2002 to 2014, Dr. Jacobs performed 4 total joint replacements on me; 2 knees and 2 hips, for severe osteoarthritis. It is now 2023 and, since 2002, I have experienced no complications from these surgeries. Dr. Jacobs, for the past 21 years, had given me a significantly improved quality of life. I have been completely independently ambulatory, able to engage in many forms of sport, dance, and travel. Without the aforementioned surgeries, I most probably would have been in a wheelchair. During the visit of 12/20/23, Dr. Jacobs, after examining me and looking at my x-rays, attributed my pain to arthritis in my back and he referred me to my primary care physician to pursue treatment for that condition. I was assured that all my joint replacements were fine. For a multitude of reasons; Dr. Jacobs' excellent skill set as a surgeon, empathetic and compassionate response to the needs of his patients, and the efficient and kind manner in which he is supported by his clinical and non-clinical staff, I would highly recommend his orthopedic services without hesitation. I am truly grateful for the wonderful outcome those orthopedic services have had on my life."
