Testimonials
"I learned so much from my last visit for an RMR test that I wanted to take the next step and schedule a DXA scan to further support my health and fitness goals. The online scheduling process was simple, and the receptionist, Jaharri, was very friendly and helpful during check-in. I met with Tim, who took the time to ask thoughtful questions about my diet, fitness routine, and overall health. He clearly explained the DXA scan beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect. Reviewing my results was incredibly informative--Tim made sure I understood why a DXA scan is so important, especially for women. Having detailed insights into my Bone Mineral Density, Lean Muscle Mass, and Body Fat provided a valuable baseline, and he also recommended sharing this data with my physician. We discussed what I'm already doing well to support my wellness and what I could add to continue working toward my goals. This is truly an investment that is well worth your time and money if you're looking for guidance, knowledge, and a deeper understanding of your body to support a healthy, active life. Highly recommend National Sports Medicine Institute."
"I don't often take the time to leave reviews but I wanted to do so for Dr. David Johnson. I had a knee injury and followed up with Dr. David after my ER visit. He took the time to listen, get films, try to treat conservatively with cortisone shots, PT, hyaluronic acid gel shot, and medication but conservative treatment is no longer going to work for me. I have severe OA and other medical issues that make me a tricky case. Dr. David acknowledged that and talk things through with me and assisted me further with referring me to a PCP and another surgeon skilled in robotic-assisted total knee replacements (as this surgeon specializes in this particular surgery - especially for tricky cases like mine). Dr. David is warm and caring, very knowledgeable, and wants the best outcomes for his patients so much so that he would recommend someone else if he thought that was best for you. His office staff and physical therapists are all top notch too. I totally recommend Dr. David Johnson -- he is the best! And, if I need an ortho in the future for something else (which I pray not), I will definitely be back."
"We highly recommend Dr. David Johnson. It is clearly evident he is one of the best in the field of orthopedics. Beyond his expertise in the field, his professional, caring attention to his patients is outstanding. Dr. Johnson has a genuine care included never making you feel rushed, answering every question and giving detailed instructions on your rehab care. We have seen him for both rehab as well as surgeries. 10/10 recommend."
"Highly recommend scheduling this location for a DXA scan! I've been twice. The scan takes no more than 10 minutes; however, I am most impressed by the review & analysis of my results by their experts following the scan being done so comprehensive and thorough. I encourage anyone who wants to benchmark their body composition and stay on top of their health to check them out!"
"Doctor Timothy Johnson is a great doctor and has been caring for my treatment after shoulder surgery. All is going well and now I am slowly returning to play racquetball competitively. I highly recommend him and the great service his office has provided me thus far."
"Dr David Johnson came highly recommended to us. His "bedside manner" is outstanding. From our first appointment with him, he took his time to explain everything to us. He described my son's injury to us, as well as the surgery that was needed, in great detail and taking the time to answer any and all questions we had. He then performed Arthroscopic knee surgery on my 17 year old son to replace his ACL. The surgery went well and the follow-up care has been outstanding. The staff has been great and he has continued to answer any and all questions while never making us feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and this practice. Everyone is very courteous and friendly."
"Went for a DXA scan and had a great experience. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and Tim explained my scan results thoroughly. He was extra helpful answering my questions. I will definitely be back to track my progress in a few months."
"Dr. David Johnson was amazing and I am thankful for what he has done for me and for repairing my shoulder. I feel the same way about the physical therapists who worked with my on my rehabilitation, including Scott, Angela, and Natalie. The front desk staff at the doctor's office and the physical therapy office, however, are terrible and rude, at times, and Hailey, the receptionist at the physical therapy office, is the worst. I just came from their office and felt I needed to leave and miss my therapy appointment due to being treated like a criminal for not paying a bill, which I never received. I was told I could not be seen unless I paid the bill first. So I paid, cancelled my appointment, and left as I was quite turned off by this experience. I have taken my shoulder repair and rehabilitation extremely seriously, missed a lot of work and personal time to do that, and always have paid the related bills immediately, including to the doctor, the surgery center, and physical therapy office. She has also screwed up the scheduling of several of my appointments, which were made directly with her for the Lansdowne location, only to be called by her to confirm my appointment in the Aldie location, which I had to cancel as I could not leave my job to go to Aldie, which is why I scheduled them for Lansdowne. I have put up with the ill-treatment from both front office staffs with my priority being my shoulder repair, but today's visit was the last straw. I may just be just another patient, one of many, to them, but it is good customers like me who help keep that business running and contribute to the salaries of the support staff, only to be treated like this by them. This is unacceptable, and some of the support staff need to learn to have a better bedside manner like Dr. Johnson and his physical therapists have. I feel I need to find another physical therapy practice to finish my rehabilitation, and I would go just about anywhere else than have to deal with Hailey and some others at this practice."
