"This may be a bit long, but I want to give a full picture. I have been coming to this practice for 10 years because when I was a child I broke a vertebrae and went undetected and undiagnosed till I was an adult. I saw Dr. Gelb at first and he was able to confirm my my spondylolisthesis. And for 8 years after with his care and physical therapy, I went normal and undisturbed. That was until 2024 and it stopped working (this happens). And so, he felt that we needed to take the next steps and transferred me to Dr. Mathur who specializes in my diagnosis. 1 look at at my MRI and he said I could choose my surgery date, but it was happening. We continued to condition my body and in June, I had a laminectomy, fusion, and cage w/ graft. I am now 6 weeks out and HOLY COW. When I say they leave no stone unturned and do their diligence I mean it. Both doctors have everything you want. The confidence of knowing they are the top of their game, but also the calm and heart warming bedside manner to make sure you know everything. They have made sure I can have a better life and I recommend both of them highly. There are a couple times a year appointments get busy, usually around sports season or 4th of July (I presume injury uptick), but most of the time I am in and out within 30 minutes. The rest of the staff has always been professional and nice, making sure I leave with everything updated."

He gave me a short term strategy, a PT strategy and even got me ready if and only if I need more diagnostics. I booked my PT on the way out.
