Testimonials
"The facilities are modern and clean. But they have update their systems to this century. There are no APi integrations with MyChart or northwell which is concerning. At triage the attendant spoke in an unintelligible creole. I asked for instructions in writing because I am Autistic and easily distracted by sound. The waiting room is pretty chaotic the security guards are always on the phone, and herd patients onto the waiting area even though theres like 8 waiting wings which were behind rods. Once i got to the second floor I was examined by an attending nurse who was super nice her name was Amanda. We discussed briefly the need for a universal health record that would make her job more efficient and provide optimal care. I am a snow shoveler for DSNY hoping to get permanent employment, with the ends of having earned income to substantiate my citipfheps voucher. Onboarding a patient facing dashboard for shelter patients is cost free. I reside at the adult sanctuary at 1090 Myrtle, most of hospitals business comes from shelters. You'd think they would have honed an intimate relationship with those patients."
"This review is for the Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units. Labor & Delivery: I want to thank everyone for the love, support, and encouragement shown to me during such a vulnerable time. Every staff member I encountered--RNs, residents, midwives, and even environmental services--was incredibly kind and helpful. A big shout-out to my midwife, Francine, who did everything in her power to follow my wishes. She has been with me since day one, and I'm so happy she was there for the arrival of my baby girl. Now for the star of the show, Ms. Rosa, RN. I don't even know where to begin. She treated me with so much care, love, and empathy. She truly embodies what a nurse should be. In my time of greatest need, she treated me like I was her own and made me feel safe. When her shift was over, I nearly cried and asked her to stay for overtime--lol. She was everything, and after that experience and the example of excellence she set, it makes me proud to be a nurse. Ms. Hooker, thank you for your attentiveness. Ms. Watkis, RN, thank you for making sure I was well taken care of and that my baby girl was delivered safely and attended to so promptly. Mother-Baby: I'd also like to shout out Ms. Margarita, Olivia, and Ms. Gloria for the around-the-clock care they provided to me and my baby girl. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for all the helpful breastfeeding tips. All of the staff were attentive, supportive, and incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of my night nurses from both departments, but they were also excellent. Overall, my experience was very positive."
"I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Wyckoff Hospital for the excellent care I received during my stay. I recently had a Caesarean delivery, and the support I received made a huge difference in my recovery and overall experience. A very special thank you Nurse Annie jose the way she cared for both me and my baby. The hospital environment was clean, organized, and welcoming. Every staff member I encountered was respectful and helpful. I appreciate the dedication and hard work of the entire maternity team who ensured I was comfortable and well-informed throughout my stay. Thank you, Wyckoff Hospital, for providing such wonderful care. This experience will always be remembered with gratitude."
