Testimonials
"It was a very short wait to see Dr. Numsuwan who delivered excellent care. He was very deliberate in getting the complete background on my condition, paused early in the process to get me in the queue for x-rays to minimize the wait, and was very thorough in explaining the diagnosis and next steps. Also, very personable."
"I had a very good experience at this facility. The staff was very professional and assisted me with my visit preparation. The nurse supporting Dr. Blythe was phenomenal. Dr. Blythe was very caring and explained every aspect of the x-ray of my knee and gave me a medical plan to resolve the issue. Thank you MedStar for having some of the best doctors in the DMV."
"Dr. Kheradi an excellent sports medicine physician. He is personable, listens attentively, and lays out the various treatment options clearly, along with risks and benefits. I feel lucky to have found him."
"Dr. Michael Ding is a good listener, who tries to understand my pain, its history and other related health issues that could affect my treatment. He discusses options and offers a recommendation that is logical and conservative care for my pain. He is thorough and seems very concerned for his patient. At my age, I know sooner or later, my body parts will start giving me pain. I believe I have found a pain doctor that I can trust and depend on. Dr Michael Ding is highly recommended. Chevy Chase MedStar is a convenient location where I can get a lot done within one visit; outstanding primary care and specialists with support from radiology, labs and staff that are able and willing to assist."
"My appointment with Dr. Kheradi was informative. He recommended a cohesive treatment plan. I hope everything trends in a positive direction that helps me recover. Glad I chose Medstar, however, the front desk staff did not want to give me a single business card for my doctor, got irritated when I requested progress notes sent to my physician and they were rude throughout the entire visit. The medical assistant thought that scanning my medication list was such a chore. I am relieved that the physician is not like the staff at the front desk, but a caring, competent staff should be helpful and professional which they all lack in spades. Based on my visit with Dr. Alexander Kheradi, I give 5 stars, but the staff gets 1 star. New patients should expect to encounter pushback from the staff."
"Dr Ding is an excellent doctor. He performed a nerve block on me. No pain! His staff were excellent too. Dr.Ding listened to my complaints; therefore, was able to make a diagnosis to correct the problem."
"I have visited MedStar Health on Connecticut Avenue over the last four or five months with a diagnosis of arthritis in both knees. Dr. Fariba Shah has been my physician over these months with diagnosis and three knee injections in both knees over the following months. She is friendly, thorough in her descriptions, and caring. She is one of the best! I highly recommend Dr. Shah and the Medstar Health Rheumatology department on Connecticut Avenue in Washington DC. Kudos! They were efficient, friendly, and caring during my repeated visits. This was my second round of Medstar visits. The first, sometime earlier last year, was with Cardiologist Dr. Joseph A. Quash Jr., MD FACC, at Providence and Washington Hospital Center, where I received a second opinion on a Bradycardia diagnosis first given by my Johns Hopkins cardiologist. Dr. Quash was kind and thorough with his confirmed diagnosis of Bradycardia indicating the lowest possible outcome and referred me back to my Hopkins doctor, who approved my request to begin taking Omega 3. At my most recent appointment with Dr. Quash at Sibley Memorial Hospital, he advised that I no longer had an extra heartbeat. My primary physician is a Hopkins doctor and most of my referrals are to Hopkins docs with good outcomes. I highly recommend their care and facilities as well. Nevertheless, I also highly recommend Medstar, where I found my first real job after college at Washington Hospital Center, perhaps not yet known as a Medstar facility. My experience thus far finds both facilities to be among the best in the Washington DC area."
"The staff is,always pleasant and professional. I was seen by Dr. Shah at my appointment time. Dr. Shaw takes the time not only to explain things to me but also gets to know me."
