"I took a loved one there for a few months last year because it was close to us. The PT's were kind and although they gave exercises that were perhaps not too challenging (according to his former HSS therapists) we liked them. The issues we noticed with this clinic are: 1. The PT's only see them for 10 min for the one to one massage/exercises. The rest of the time (the bulk of the session ) it's 1 aide to 4 patients under the very busy PT's dubious supervision. 2. I was very annoyed that I was planning the visits based on which aides would be there and not the PT's because 3 out of the 4 were constantly on their devices! 3. There is also a section of the clinic hidden by a wall, so if the aides don't circulate, they won't know if the patient's posture is wrong, etc. So I would only plan for when the one motivated aide was there. What can the PT's do? They're not the bosses. The aides were all nice but young people and their phones. SMH 4. The receptionists were also very kind and cordial however when I emailed to ask for receipts/notes (because I lost the copies of the physical receipts), I got nothing back. I think I called one more time and then I stopped asking. 5. Finally, I noticed that the patients were maintaining but not being challenged. The weights were set 5lb lighter than what the patient could've done. As the patient fought against the exercises getting harder, we did not pursue it. This was last year. Maybe everything has changed so YMMV. This is a local place and maybe I'm expecting too much. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either."
