"I went to Dr Linder 8yrs ago(?) for the last time. He performed a rhizotomy which is nerve burning in my lower back.He used a steroid, even after I told him I was allergic to steroids and I ended up in bed 2 days later with extreme headache, to the point my husband almost took me to the hospital. When he did the other side, he did not use the steroid and everything was perfect. Went back to him about three years(?)later and like others had said in their reviews , he was so rude to me, like angry bc I guess I was explaining my pain in a way he didn't approve of??? I started to tear up. He apologized and his temperament changed immediately, because he knew he had upset me for doing nothing wrong on my part, and told me to schedule my appointment for my procedure. I walked out of the office and never looked back. I thought he was just going through a bad time in his personal life, but these other reviews make me wonder about his temperament. I pray he can figure out why he can treat a patient nicely one time, and then bring them to tears the next time he sees them. I know everyone can have bad days and maybe something in his personal life that can be on their mind ( I said a prayer for him that evening Incase something personal was the underlying cause) but a doctor should never take that out on their patients."
"Dr. Linder has been a lifesaver for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. He is not one to jump into doing surgery, but is willing to so when it is in the patient's best interest. 13 months after my spinal cord stimulator, I am about 80%+ pain free. (It's considered a success at 50%.) I am pleased with his excellent and professional staff as well. I have referred family and friends to this office and I will continue to do so! Thank you!!!"
"At my first visit last year, this physician was professional and respectful. This year I needed a shot for pain. Referral from my Oncologist. This Doctor suggested a steroid injection... My body is inflamed and aching. His Nurse neglected to record vital signs ! For a patient in pain to endure the machine to re-take a blood pressure that causes fingers to numb was awful and I let her know it was not professional. She asked questions about the vital signs as well as asking about health concerns in my chart that I didn't remember. Now I have stage four cancer and chronic pain in pain management center to see A Pain Management Specialist! However , the back and forth conversation was the nurse blaming me for asking questions and she not recording my results. The Nurse apologized and when the Doctor entered he thought it was professional of him to scold me as if I was his child about being RUDE? It's my Patient Right to question anything you BRING TO MY ATTENTION ON MY HEALTH. Second it's also my RIGHT AS A PATIENT AND AS A PERSON THAT WAS CERTIFIED AND WORKED IN HEALTHCARE TAKING VITALS; to Question Why My Vitals were NOT RECORDED AT THE TIME SHE FIRST TOOK THEM! How ACCURATE will it be now that the pain HAS ESCALATED AND I AM NOW ANGRY. This Doctor WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH ME ABOUT WHAT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO HIM FOR TREATMENT, but IT OBVIOUSLY WAS TO HAVE THIS KIND OF CONVERSATION WITH A PATIENT IN PAIN. He canceled my visit and DID NOT PROVIDE CARE. I waited 2 weeks and stopped all medication for that appointment. DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH A DOCTOR WHO PUTS HIS STAFF OR HIMSELF BEFORE THE CARE OF A PATIENT. HE DOES NOT STAND FOR THE VALUES OR MISSION OF MERCY HOSPITAL FOUNDERS!"
"Saw Dr. Linder for my shoulder pain in June 2021. The first shot did not work as well as the second one. I started to ask him questions because I was nervous and concerned that I wasn't getting better. After a few questions he said in a a rude tone well what is your question. I didn't say anything after that. He acted like he was in a bad mood. Went to the table to get the shot, he did not say a word, maye a couple. I had back fusion surgery from Dr. Charles Edwards 2nd from Mercy Hospital. Best doctor I have ever been to who really cares about his patients. I had great success. Dr. Linder could take a few lessons from him on how to be nice and learn how to talk to his patients. Now I know why when I read the reviews they are like they are. I won't be going back to him. I love Mercy Hospital, might be the best I have been to but he sure ruins it......."
"After reading some of these reviews, I was wary of seeing Dr. Linder for chronic pain/degenerative disc disease as a result of being hit by a drunk driver 9 years ago. It turns out, however, that my fears were completely unfounded. The path to finding relief can be extremely frustrating and defeating as you have to go through multiple doctors, tests, treatments, etc. to find the root of the problem and the right solution. I have seen countless doctors and medical professionals over the last 9 years, and have undergone 5 surgeries for my injuries (including 2 spinal fusions). I often find that doctors are dismissive of my concerns and don't give much consideration to the effects this pain has on my quality of life. They also seem to treat me as if I know nothing about my condition because I am not an M.D. The opposite is true of Dr. Linder. He made me feel both seen and heard and suggested treatments that align with my desire to exhaust all conservative options before resorting to more invasive ones. I am so grateful for his kindness and compassion, which seems to be in short supply these days. I highly recommend him."
"Dr. Harrison Linder is the worst Doctor I have ever encountered. On 3/16/21 I went in to see Dr. Harrison Linder, a pain specialist. When we got into the office, Linder walked in and asked why we were there. My husband, who often acts as my advocate because I cannot readily remember dates, told him we were there to get results. Linder then looked at me and asked the same question, I said, "What he said." Then, Linder got up abruptly and said really loud and nasty, "I'm not going to do this." My husband then said, "Are you serious?" He said loudly, "I'm not dealing with this." My husband and I were confused with his behavior. We then asked to get our medical results from the last visit. He said, "I'm done." He was angry that my husband acted as my advocate. When leaving out of the office, the receptionist decided to cover for him by not giving us the office manager's name. I have never been so rudely spoken to by a doctor and treated like I was worthless. This doctor should not practice medicine because he is extremely unprofessional and rude. He needs to learn how to respect his patients. I expected more from a person who went to school for years to help people. If you visit this clinic try to make an appointment with someone other than this doctor, and if you bring an advocate beware if you are seeing this doctor, you may receive inhumane treatment."
"Saw Dr. Linder today for an epidural in my lower back. I must say after being in the medical field for many years I am very picky when it comes to Drs and procedures. Went to the Bunting Bldg. for my procedure. There was no wait time and the staff was very nice and professional. Dr. Linder explained everything he was doing and practically pain free. I suffered with nerve pain for several months and within 3 hours pain is almost gone . I highly recommend Dr Linder and the staff at Mercy Hospital . Thank you !"
"Dr. Linder is very caring and professional. He has helped me in so many ways with my back pain. I would recommend him to anyone with joint or back pain! Thanks for all of your help and helping to keep my pain manageable! The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable!!"
