"They fixed my finger, but their accounting system is a complete mess. I was charged twice for the same office visit multiple times. Their statements are confusing to understand. Beware. Keep all your records. On the medical side, they did a wonderful job. My finger was x-rayed by three different providers and three different doctors, but only Nirschl 's Dr. Root was able to identify the second fracture in my finger. The surgery was successful and I have more mobility in my finger than the expectations that were set by Dr. Root. I tried working directly with Nirschl to resolve my billing dispute. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was just an accounting error. I understand medical billing is complicated and mistakes happen. But the same double billing mistake occurred several times and Nirschl was uncooperative and responded unprofessionally in written correspondence. I asked my insurer to conduct an investigation into the overcharging and the results of that investigation are consistent with my claims. My insurer has stated that Nirschl was uncooperative and unresponsive to them during their investigation as well. I have all the documentation from my insurer and their investigation to support my claims."

"I ABSOLUTELY love Dr. Nirschl and staff! I recently had an injury to my arm and didn't like the list of referrals I was given after reading their reviews. After doing my own research, I came across Dr. Nirschl and the reviews were great. When I came in for my first appointment the receptionist was so pleaseant and kind. The nurses were amazing and again everyone working there was so nice and friendly. Dr. Nirschl is such a wonderful Orthopedist. He is very charming, humorous, and humble. He takes his time explaining your issue and the options you have. He doesn't rush through your appointment and actually cares about how your feeling. He has this small town/everyone's doctor feel. I would highly recommend Dr. Nirschl!!!!!!!"
