"Dr. James Hill was amazing, so sad he is no longer there. Smiled alot, listened to you with his full attention to your pain elements. Between the time Dr Hill left til mid-August I saw Shirley F, Gaithersburg office, have been seeing her for about 5 visits then she went on maternity leave. Now I am seeing Dr Shockley he seems like a busy man and a Lil stressed, due to staffing needs. The front office girls are very cordial and proficient.I But one thing is lacking...I left 3 voice mails with in this week and nobody/human answer the phone, justso had to leave messages. received a recording...this phone call is being recorded and to leave a message it's been 3 days and no one called back yet. Then today late afternoon, I spoke with Charity at the call center after 2nd ring, she truly is a compassionate lady and is always on target to follow-up With you, and diligently makes every effort til the problem is solved. I wish there were more people like her that haven't lost integrity. Current situation, due to delayed order of 10 mg oxycodone, by the manufacturer, it was undetermined when it will be available, but they have 5 mg available, which was to last 30 days it was advised to take when needed and/or 5mg every 6 hrs, but the 10 mg are now available. So with a spine surgery coming.up L1-L5 and sciatica and then in 8 weeks, a total knee replacement, I am in chronic pain everyday cause I am the primary caretaker of my 88 yr old mother with dementia and I really have no standby, I don't know how much longer I can get by being neglectful and her needs due to stairs (split foyer. walking bending, sleeping. household chores. Everything is a struggle I i told Dr Hill all about my situation l I can't afford assisted living nor nursing home. So please don't let me go 2 weeks without pain meds, the medical profession knows this because this is not sufficient of my regular refill and very oncerning to me due to abruptly stopping this medication. You need to gradually wean off it, withdrawals can be dangerous and not easy, might even have visit to emergency room to get stabilize if it gets that bad. When only a new script can be written (the pharmist said that would be acceptable) and sent to pharmacy within 10-15 minutes of my original monthly refill. Please reconsider my situation and what level of pain I have everyday, I am expecting a phone call back tomorrow. I just want a normal quality life back again I should.have the 2 surgeries taken care of by December. I apologize for this very very long review and I hope one of the Dr's reads this and continues to manage my pain like it has been from the beginning. Thank you so much and God bless. Dr. Chaghtai listens carefully to his patients and is extremely well-versed in his field. He has been taking care of me following a complex medical situation and has really impressed me with his competence and caring. His assistant has been equally professional and thorough every time he provides a patient work-up prior to seeing the doctor. I also want to give the highest praise to staff member Towanda. I have been a terribly high maintenance patient in the past few months, but every time I have called with a concern or request, she handles it immediately and with complete competence, as if I was the only patient in the practice. Just her attitude and helpfulness alone is reason to choose this office over the numerous other doctors in this area. She brings the concept of a small-town, personal doctor's office to each patient, while providing the service of a large, highly-specialized modern facility.
