Dr. Ramesh Sawhney - Irving Place Surgery & Wellness Center

"Place is a scam. Charged me $11,000 (pre-insurance) for a single shot, but the office is claiming they did 2 shots. They do not go through insurance - office will ask you to call the "billing department" with a Gmail email address to settle the fees. Office is sketchy and dirty, assistants aren't in lab uniforms either. When "doctor" Sawhney came in to see me, didn't ask any questions and all he did was give me the shot, without even sanitizing his hands. Did the shot work? Nope. Still in pain. I should have done more research on ZocDoc. Pretty sure the reviews about this doctor are fake. You've been warned."

"PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW Treatment worked quickly and lasted a long time. Worked when nothing else did. Edit: Called the office yesterday (10/14/22) and the phone didn't work. Googled Sawhney and came across a 2020 article in the Post re: accusations and a lawsuit against him. No idea if they were proven in court but I encourage all potential patients to read up first so you know what you might be getting in to; I don't think I'll be going back."
