"I saw Dr. Anastasio in February of this year (2024) and was referred to him by my amazing Sports Medicine Doctor, Doctor Toor. I have had chronic elbow pain and after having an MRI, a partially torn ligament and tendon was the diagnosis. I met Dr. Anastasio and he was incredibly welcoming with a wonderful personality. His staff was also delightful to deal with, so from the very beginning I felt so comfortable. Because of the partial tears, Dr. Anastasio suggested a Percutaneous Tenotomy procedure. He explained the procedure to me and since I was a candidate, it was performed 10 days later in his office. It was performed under local anesthesia, and was truly a 10 minute procedure with no pain, leaving with a band-Aid on my elbow. My elbow pain is so much better and have returned to playing pickleball, gardening, mulching, and all activities with no pain. Have just completed Physical Therapy at Agape PT in Fallston, which really was super helpful. I am so thankful to Dr. Anastasio for his incredible knowledge, expertise, and welcoming personality for this procedure. He was amazing and I look forward to returning for my 3 month follow up evaluation.."
