"Doctor Charles Mess Jr & Potomac Valley centers for orthopedic surgery just replaced my left knee at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia Maryland. He and his staff worked closely with the hospital to work thru the logistics of pre-op PT, anesthesia, pre-op, surgery, post-op, in-home PT, & post-op PT! The pre-op PT @ PVCOS went very well. The local was great, the staff was friendly and professional & I strengthened my left & right knee before my surgery! The surgery was smooth as silk! Potomac Valley worked very closely with the HCGH staff (care nurses, technicians, food service, maintenance) to see that I was well taken care of! In-Home PT has been scheduled and Denise Patti is awesome! A RomTech Exercycle has been delivered and I ride it two to five times daily! It's great for expanding my range-of-motion! Out-patient PT will start after 9/23and it will be exiting to see Timothy and his team on Centre Park Drive in Ellicott City again! They were a great help in my Pre-op strengthening exercises and i expect them to push me to the limits for a speedy and full recovery from my surgery!! If I need any more surgeries in my life, I hope PVCOS is there to assist! I have 200% confidence in them! Post-op PT has been progressing very well! I've moved on from the walker to the cane or now walking without the cane for short to medium distances! My range-of-motion is great (125 degrees) and the strength in my knee is getting stronger every day! I can't thank Dr Mess and his team of operational therapists enough for the AWSOME work they've done on me!!!"
