"I'm deeply unsatisfied with the level of service in this office. I thought it would be no problem pivoting from Advanced Orthopedics since they had no immediate appointment slots. I wish I would have practiced patience and waited to be honest. My first visit 10/20, I had no idea when my appointment was because the intake receptionist put my last name in wrong. Then I was rebooked till an hr after my arrival when the mistake was on their end. They don't even provide reminder calls, text or emails like other offices. Furthermore, the receptionist (2) watched various people including myself with mobility issues without asking if we needed assistance or help carrying the ipad etc I had crutches and she had a walker. Then, the physician assistant wasn't personable not sure if she was sick, tired or having a rough day but it was a turn off. Dr. Edgar, was dismissive, inattentive and doesn't listen to concerns. Again, I thought this was a one off and I brushed it off. Coming back today (10/31) receptionist-were more welcoming but more wrapped up in celebrating Halloween. I get it people try to make work fun and it was adorable but it's also rude when you're in the medical service business. Seemed the physicians assistant was in a better mood today than last week till I had issues with the medical paperwork being filled out incorrectly. Dr. Edgar was consistent in his personality and it was a turn off. I understand that per your profession you have a duty to your license but you also have a duty to listen, talk through and resolve your clients concerns or point them in the right direction. My favorite part is this is work injury and they billed me every single time after I advised them and they documented it. He also recommended physical therapy but provided no order or follow up information regarding this. I should've followed my instincts and waited for advanced orthopedic to have slots open after my first visit. As they provide the level of service a patient should receive"

"Very well run medical facility. Entire Staff is wonderful and professional and they handle the pressures of an extremely busy medical facility with ease. Dr. Fricka is a gifted surgeon and explains everything the patient needs to know. It's amazing how he relieved me of the pain I suffered with five years ago. Anybody who could take me out of that pain is next to God. Hands down, Anderson Clinic at Mount Vernon Hospital is THE place for joint replacement surgery."
