Testimonials

Raymond Wittstadt

"I have referred patients to the Hand Center Therapists for years, but recently needed hand therapy myself. The therapy department in general was efficient and provided prompt service during each appointment. Lauren Valdata is one of the longest serving therapist at the Hand Center. Her experience and knowledge is unsurpassed. She always seems to see what others don't. Her attention to detail and ability to communicate with patients is outstanding."

Marc Pushkin

"I had a great experience with my occupational therapist, Courtney. She was friendly, caring, and clearly an expert in her field. She took the time to ensure my splint fit perfectly, explained everything in detail, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. She also was available by phone to respond to a follow up question that I had."

Barry Vaughan

"I chose Curtis National Hand Center for the treatment of my De Quervain's tenosynovitis, and worked with Lauren Valdata. She was great! She was very down-to-earth and focused on treatment options and PT exercises, and had a wealth of knowledge about things like KT taping and online resources and videos. The Hand Center is easy to get to, with parking across the street at the attached Medstar Union Memorial Hospital garage. Getting the initial appointment was the only challenge -- their voicemail system didn't seem to pass along my requests for a consult until about the fourth time I tried -- but once I was in the system everything went very smoothly. I recommend the Curtis hand center for anyone needing PT-based interventions for hand problems like mine."
