"Dr Weiss saved my life! I had a pretty bad shoulder injury that caused me to be in excruciating pain! Every night I would wake up to shooting pain down my arm, numbness and tingling in my fingers. Slowly the daily agony changed my personality . I was no longer the positive, upbeat, fun, humorous nurse that I once was. Pain can do that to you! I was afraid to have surgery so I relied on medication and therapy. I tried every steroid, anti-inflammatory, pain medicine, muscle relaxers, steroid shot, therapy, you name it! "I first saw Dr. Weiss a year ago for severe back pain, sciatica, scoliosis and stenosis of the spine. He was conservative as to a course of action and with suggested non-opiate medications and physical therapy, my condition vastly improved. On a late fall trip, I fell dislocating my shoulder, tearing the biceps and rotator cuff, and fractured the humerus. This resulted in extensive, complicated shoulder surgery. Dr. Weiss explained the results of the pre-surgical diagnostic tests, the surgical procedure, and recovery process.
