"All I can say is WOW! Rafaela Arruda went above and beyond any expectation I could've imagined, just from my first visit, and needs to be recognized for her outstanding knowledge, skills and compassion! I called in tears for help being I injured myself in a kickboxing class... my scariest symptom of all, was that my toes were numb in my left foot! After 4 days, I still had no feeling! Rafaela assessed my symptoms, and noticed that my hips needed to be realigned and that I shifted my fibula bone which was hitting a nerve, and was the cause of the numbness in my toes...on top of a weak core! This was ALL in my initial visit!! 2 days later, numbness is soooo much better, being she had taped my fibula back into place during my 1st visit, and she had to realign my hips again, which I was surprised at first, but she reminded me that we need to strengthen my core to stop that from happening! "WOPT is a great place for Physical Therapy. Everyone on the staff is professional, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. Treatment plans are tailored to your needs and they really try to work out scheduling with you. They are like family. I was at WOPT first way back in 2018, and I now needed to return in Sept 2025. I am just completing my current treatment now at the end of Nov 2025, and I know they are here for me anytime in the future. Highly recommended and even without a physician's referral, you can always stop in for an evaluation."
