Testimonials
"Their occupational therapist, Katie Oh, is incredible. After having surgery in late October to repair my fractured wrist, I was fortunate to find Katie to guide my four months of therapy, 2-3 times a week. She is highly skilled, compassionate and always upbeat and encouraging. She guaranteed I'd be healthy enough to be playing golf by March 1 and I've played three times in the last two weeks with no pain at all. Her dance card fills up rapidly, but if your hands or wrists need healing I highly recommend you call this Athletico and start working with Katie. She is great and the front desk staff and the other therapists here are all top notch."
"I had an outstanding experience with Ben and the entire team at Athletico during my ACL and meniscus recovery. From day one they were attentive, knowledgeable, and fully invested in my progress. Ben tailored every session to my needs, pushed me at the right pace, and explained the "why" behind each exercise which made a huge difference in my confidence throughout rehab. The whole team created a positive environment that kept me motivated on the tough days and celebrated every milestone with me. Thanks to their guidance I'm back to moving pain free and feeling stronger than before. Highly recommend Ben and the Athletico team to anyone needing dedicated, professional, and genuinely caring physical therapy support."
"When I first started coming here I was navigating a completely new chapter in my life. I was recovering from ACL/Meniscus surgery after having the injury for over a year... I was aching, angry, and so so vulnerable. The entire staff creates an environment for safety, healing, and positivity. Whether it was a cheerful greeting by the front staff, therapists I didn't work with cheering for my successes and milestones, fantastic and thorough communication, or the content and confident energy the other patients showed, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Lindsey was my saving grace. She always kept me on track, reassured my fears, and genuinely cared for my overall well being throughout the process. Recovery is such a lonely process, and attending this place 3 times a week was something I began to look forward too. It was a reason to get up, get out, socialize, and work towards my goal. In Lindsey I not only found a phenomenal PT; but also a friend. Thank you so much Athletico for everything you do! "
"Had a great experience here. Staff were all very friendly. My therapist Ben Howlett was great. He spent a lot of time assessing my needs and explaining everything very clearly. There is an app, where they upload your home exercises, which is great to keep you on track and also has visuals so you can remember what to do and it times you so you can do it along with the video. If you don't want to use the app, they also provided regular printed hand outs, but it's a great tool, if you don't always remember exactly how to do something. The team there is great!"
"I worked with Katie after my double hand surgery, and even a year later I'm still so grateful for everything she did for me. She's incredibly kind, friendly, and reassuring--just one of those people who makes you feel comfortable right away. She also made therapy feel fun, which is not easy when you're recovering from something like that. Katie went above and beyond, especially when it came to dealing with my claim advisors, who were honestly pretty tough to get a hold of. She handled all of that with so much patience and made the whole process so much easier for me. I'm really thankful I got to work with her. She's amazing at what she does, and I'd recommend her to anyone who needs a great occupational therapist."
"Earlier this fall, I completed a multi-month physical therapy program with Lindsey M. at the Rogers Park Athletico. From start to finish, my therapist was knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely caring throughout my recovery. The entire staff, from the front desk to the other therapists to the site leader, was consistently friendly and invested in my progress. Thanks to their support, I felt confident and well cared for every step of the way. I would gladly return if I ever need physical therapy again. Highly recommend!"
"Jacob and the team at Athletico RP are the best. I have had multiple PTs over the years and I feel like Jacob finally got it right. There was no "inciting incident" for me, but after not being able to walk and going to an ortho who prescribed PT, Jacob tried varying techniques and tests to determine it was a nerve issue. Nerves take time, but he helped me build my strength back (especially in my glutes) to get me back close to 100%. Now the work is in my hands, but Jacob never questioned my desire to move (via yoga, swimming, and running) and he always led with wanting me to understand what he was doing, why he was doing it, and why my body was responding as it was. Add in a dose of good-natured employees, I always looked forward to going. "I will actually miss PT" -- says no one ever...? Well, I'm saying it now."
"I needed necessary physical therapy after hand surgery and was referred to Athletico. I am so grateful for the friendly team there and especially my therapist, Katie. My appointments were often first of the day and she was always ready to go, as soon as I arrived. Her demeanor is kind and actually made the experience a positive one, after the accident that required surgery. I would highly recommend this location if you're looking for a great team of people who genuinely care!"
