"I agree with everyone who gave a ONE star rating. I wish, I could give ZERO stars. These doctors do not know how to listen to their patients. They are rude at this location. When they give you a time slot for your appointment. You do not get called right away. You're there for 3 hours. Incompetent staff and doctors. I used to be a patient there and would never go back. The doctors don't listen nor let you get a word in edge wise. They think because you don't have a PhD, you know nothing. Do NOT go to The Germantown location. Do NOT waste your time or money."
"I had a horrible experience today at the Germantown location. I was treated unprofessionally by the manager and one of the nurses. My appointment was at 3:20pm and I arrived at 3:05pm. After waiting over an hour for my appointment, I was disrespected on more than one occasion by the nurse assistant who refused to address me in a nice way. Following this incident, I asked her to address me by my name and not by saying "come" as she had addressed the previous patients by their names. She proceeded to argue with me and went as far as refusing to take my vital signs. Also, I was told by the lady at the front desk who told me she's the manager as well, to leave the premises due to asking for basic human decency from health care professionals. This lack of professionalism left me very uncomfortable and disappointed in this company. I was almost driven to take my service elsewhere, but Dr Tannous was kind enough to apologize on their behalf and convince me to stay and continue my treatment. Otherwise, I do not recommend that these women continue to provide such poor customer service."
"The nurses/front desk ladies/ umpteen women I've spoken to on the phone were all very sweet and professional. Even double booked me due to unique dire need to see a dr. Yet I'm very mad they've had from 11am to closing to redirect my (faxed) script from one pharmacy to another. Dr David Rodriguez is very competent and willing to work with you but this delay is insulting. The phone number is for a central call center. They will not transfer me to the actual Germantown office. This fix should have taken his approval and 2 minutes of nurses time. So irked right now."
"The staff there are very nice and helpful but Dr. Gonzalez from the Germantown, Maryland office kept trying to put me on medication that I did not want. He knew that I was there for my 4 week medication refill and only submitted an electronic prescribition for 2 weeks and then told me to come back to see my regular doctor. If I knew he was going to do all that, I would have never seen him in the first place. He is rude and I would not recommend anyone seeing him."
"I was an intake patient so I'm nervous by nature I've been diagnosed with anxiety issues. So it was the new place with new people in the new setting so I was nervous. The doctor said that there's no way he would continue my medicine or anything like that and that he wanted to wean me off of everything I was on and when asked about what do we do with the pain when I'm off all of the pain medicine I'm on? His three responses were to put me on as he was looking at my chart 3 out of three things that I am allergic to. He wouldn't let me get a word in and because I wanted to understand exactly what his goal for treatment was and how we were going to figure everything out and he got really frustrated. That's not my problem, don't overbook the doctor. And if the doctor can't take time out to explain things to you so you understand and how much time do you think he's going to take to manage your case? The in result of the visit was in telling me three times how to get to the exit after the first Time I said OK and then he told me twice more which led me to believe that he just wanted me to get out of the office. I believe in professionalism so I won't name the doctor but he's definitely one of those doctors who sees patient as numbers are not people. I would never ever recommend anyone to this doctor at all. I sought out treatment for another clinic/office and had absolutely nothing but a phenomenal human being that completely understood and was on the same level as I was let me talk as much as I want to you to make sure I understand and he spoke to me about five different options minimum. He told me there were like 35 injection and Zack and I got a really cool brace. I'm supposed to be ordering a tens unit for home use. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A PATIENT, this is not the place for you. He also discriminated my age and said I don't have any of your records with me but someone of your age should not be on any type of pain medicine. Regardless of the circumstance and I'll bet you money right now that when I see the MRI it's not going to reveal anything that warrants pain medication. He's a fresh out of law school joke. I guess they need to implement a sensitivity training class from now on."
"Not sure abt the other office but the Germantown office is the worst I have ever experienced....so my appointment was at 3...I arrived extra early because medical transportation pics u up extra early...I live in Frederick. I got there at 1:30 ...so I sat outside til 2...I went in at 2 ...I was then informed that my appointment was switched to 3:45...I sat there all that time...the black chick Deborah comes to me at 4...and says...we have a problem...your referall expired a week ago...and its getting late...so I told her to call my primary care ...you can tell that they just didn't want me going back...I saw them make a couple of excuses to a couple of patients that day...so my PCP office faxed the referral...then she says...its too late to be seen...you need to reschedule but if your in pain you can go to the er....my medical transportation had to leave and come back for me...all because they didn't want to do there jobs...I sat in that office and watched them Put there heads where no one can see them and talk about and laugh at the patients....I only saw because I was sitting in the front... The front desk help is ridiculous ..... The time she sat there making an effort to laugh at people and make excuses...she could have been checking for referalls...they play too much in that damn office....then when I called to speak to someone...I was transferred to an office manager that til this day never returned my call...I don't recommended anyone to become a patient at the Germantown office ....its terrible"
"I felt Mocked,Profiled & Humiliated..I saw Dr.Rodriguez.How are you able to go from nice to a disrespectful non listener speaking Spanglish.I was repeatedly asked why I came to his office.(The white female patients were treated absolutely different)"
