Testimonials
"I was suffering from neck pain, headaches, anxiety, and constant wobbliness as these symptoms disrupted my ability to walk, and it really disrupted my life to the point I was too afraid to drive. I was referred to Dr. Cavanaugh and he assessed my spinal column was compressing on my spinal cord, and perform a laminoplasty procedure neck surgery in 2022 that took almost 2 years to heal. It is 2025 now, and I am fully healed, and back to running, working out, and enjoying everyday life again. What an awesome feeling, and I owe that to Dr. Cavanaugh, who truly saved my life, and I would definitely refer him to anyone who is having any in discomfort in the spinal region."
"I don't think he is that great. He did neck surgerry on me and I can no longer look down to crochet, sew, even to see food I dropped on myself. I am in pain wnen I do when I do these things. Also can not look up to see the shelves in the kitchen cabinets. I use to play MMORGP games and can not sit at the PC very long without being in pain. I should have said no to the surgery at least I could sit in a wheel chair and do my counted cross stitch, crochett and play my games."
"It has been 9 months post surgery from spine surgery; consisting of disc replacement, rods/screws and the infusion has left me with a positive attitude. Dr. Cavanaugh is sensitive to your need and has performed one of the difficult surgeries. To show respect is to constantly take care of myself. Stopped smoking 9 months prior to surgery and in the gym 3 to 4 days."
"Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff are the best. I visited three surgeons looking for the one who was right for me. Dr. Cavanaugh takes the time to explain your options and listens to your concerns. Although he's very busy he doesn't rush through the appointments. My four level anterior cervical discectomy w/ fusion was a success and I'm very grateful to have had him as my surgeon."
"I owe my ability to walk again, thanks to Dr. Cavanaugh!! Fell off a ladder 14 ft while catching a swarm of honeybees. Broke my back in 3 places and I was in so much pain. I thought I would never walk again. Dr. Cavanaugh saved my life. I would likely have been wheel chair bound, but he fixed my spine, ended my nerve pain and gave my life new meaning again. I just want to say thank you Daniel. I owe you so much."
"Dr Daniel Cavanaugh has been amazing throughout my surgical intervention. Dr Cavanaugh has come to my bedside 2x a day since my surgery. I was in so much pain that I would literally cry just trying to get dressed in the morning due to the extreme pain that I was having. I met Dr Cavanaugh in the ER at UCMC. Dr Cavanaugh was polite, great bedside manner, and very caring. He allowed me to express my symptoms, as he gave me plenty of time without cutting me off as so many have done previously. Dr Cavanaugh took all the test results, his assessment, along with the symptoms I reported and came up with a plan of care to proceed with a surgical intervention to fix the problems. Per Dr Cavanaugh it was no an easy fix as I had let it go for close to 5 years, but Dr Cavanaugh was successful! From the moment I woke up in the Pacu, the pain was gone! Dr Cavanaugh removed the hemovac drain on Sunday with the hope of being discharged to home today. Dr Cavanaugh still has come to see me, once already today. He will remove my staples in 14!days. If you are suffering with severe back pain and nothing really helps, call Dr Cavanaugh and allow him to let you live again! It has been so long since I could stand up Straight. I can not say enough good things about Doctor Cavanaugh. He is humble, kind, and a perfect surgeon and doctor. He is amazing!!!"
"Had I gone to Dr. Daniel Cavanaugh sooner, I would have avoided many years of back and leg pain. He is amazing, after showing me the x-rays and explaining everything to me, a fusion was done to L4 & L5. Treats patients like family ready to answer any questions you may have, So there can be a wait time, but well worth the wait. Now pain free, a big Thank you to Dr. Cavanaugh & his staff."
"I recently had Dr. Cavanaugh operate on a herniated disk I had in my lower back and I cannot recommend him enough. He was very clear about risks and what the possible outcomes were, and his staff was always very quick to respond to questions if he was unavailable. After 4 years I no longer have back and leg pain and I couldn't be happier with the outcome."
