"I cannot fathom all of the 5-star reviews of this practitioner given my surreal negative experience recently when, after gaining confidence from all those [what I now hypothesize to be fraudulent] reviews, I sought his services to relieve newly continuous back pain and cracking noises, an acute condition to be sure. If I could give zero (0) stars, I would give -6 (yes that is a negative number). Ignoring at least 7 immediate red flags, I sat with him for a consult and received a litany of junk science, fake "tests," and disinformation amid a cluttered office that included a religious shrine. He dismissed any need for imaging and agreed to treat me based on my stated symptoms alone -- no observations of my stance, walk, or ability to bend. He said my cracking noises were from old dried out ligaments. He took me to a sad, decrepit room where a bookshelf held books from the 1970s, and had the same woman who took my intake forms apply electrodes to my back -- no introduction, name, or job description -- while I was seated in an uncomfortable chair resembling a cheap dining chair -- rather ineptly. No announcement before turning up the electrical stimulation on and immediately increasing to OUCH! And as I was sitting there receiving stim, the office manager walks in, tells me I haven't met my insurance deductible (a bald faced lie), and that I owe them $40 as a copay (my insurance has $0 copay for chiropractic) and that if my insurance doesn't wind up covering it she would refund my money. WTH? Um, no. So the rest of my stim time was spent on my phone digging into my insurance benefits and screenshotting proof of $0 copay and met deductible. Then the man (I refuse to refer to him doctor) comes in, I mention the insurance issue I was just lied to about, and show him my screenshots, and he attempts to PULL MY PHONE OUT OF MY HANDS. Well finally I HAD ENOUGH!!! I jumped up (still in pain), grabbed my things, and said that was not the right place for me, I'm leaving, and do not attempt to bill me for the visit. All he could do was smile and shake my hand. Pathetic, dangerous, and frankly dishonest practice that will prey on people who don't like or understand science. I cannot even believe he is in my network. Folks, a real chiropractor will NOT treat you before imaging and certainly not before observing your mobility. A trustworthy practice will NOT demand money from you during or even after electrical stim and definitely won't offer you a refund if your insurance proves them wrong."
"Doctors have not been able to adjust My back in years and he found a way to do it within four visits in a two months time frame. Very nice staff. Something about uptown culture that makes it unique. Doctor is one of the best in my opinion. He should not be overlooked. Thank you, Dr. Striano!"
"The best in improving quality of life. After 3Oish years he still posseses the magic to assist with my pain reduction. I missed him living out of state. So happy to be his patient again. Thanks Doc !"
