"After being referred to this practice ny my neurosurgeon for a consult for pain after a failed back surgery I was told this practice does not take insurance. I have Medicare which would not cover anything for nonparticipating providers. The initial consult was $565! And then there would be follow-up visits, therapy and other costs. In my opinion if you want a fee like that you should have become a different type of physician. The staff person on the phone told me the fee was $110 more than it might have been because the doctor would have to communicate with my referring physician. Please put in an obvious place on your website what your policy is about insurance. I know this isn't a review of the clinical aspects of this practice but it's important people are made aware."
