"It pains me to write this, but I have officially decided to no longer be a patient of this office. I have been treated by various doctors here over the past 8 years. They pretty much cured my migraines, and they have treated other sports-related ailments I have had. Dr. Ageson is amazing. He is patient, kind, understanding, and trusting. He does not go into an appointment expecting someone to be an addict or have a problem simply because they need stronger medication. My mom and I both see him so we usually have an appointment together. The last time I called, I was refused that and told to come in two hours later. When my mom mentioned this to Dr. Ageson, he stated this should not have happened, and HE offered ME a telemedicine appointment so I didn't have to drive in. He instructed the receptionists, upon finishing my mom's check-up, that they were to schedule me with her from now on. I called to schedule my telemedicine, and I was met with a very nasty and new receptionist named Taylor. She gave me attitude and told me I could not have a telemedicine due to their protocol. I asked her to clarify with Dr. Ageson, as HE suggested it to my mom, and in my mind, he is the doctor and part-owner of the practice so what he says pretty much goes. Anyway, I politely stated that I often was told one thing by him and another thing by his office staff so I wanted an answer from his mouth. I was met with attitude and also called nasty. When I stated I was not being nasty, she said I wasn't being very nice. That may have been true but how about you deal with an office constantly telling you different things and making your life difficult when you are never a problem and also see them maybe 3x a year? She told me she would speak to him, and she called me back. She explained to me their protocol (of which I am familiar because I have been a patient longer than she has been employed at that office). She then told me my medications would be called in but I had to report to the office within a week for an in-person appointment, "otherwise," my "account would be deactivated, and i would no longer be able to get my prescriptions." I was flabbergasted. I was never trying to skirt their protocol, and in the years I have been a patient, this has NEVER happened. I have been a model patient. I did not request the telemedicine to get around an in-person appointment -- it was offered TO me. I found her demeanor and her attitude to be a total turn-off, and her defensiveness towards me was a complete lack of professionalism, especially because I was not being nasty (she would've known if I was, trust me). I was very offended that I was being treated like a non-compliant patient that was just seeking drugs and trying to skit the rules. That is not and never has been me. If Miss Taylor had taken any time to look through my file, maybe she would've thought before opening her mouth and threatening me - and thus losing a very loyal client for Dr. Ageson. Basically: Great office. Dr. Ageson is great. Easy commute and easy to find. Clean and bright. Doctors answer questions, show concern, and have a variety of options for ailments. Staff, however, absolutely SUCKS, and I dread dealing with them. Last week was my last straw. Edit: Dropped to one star. Seeing as they are dedicated to being respectful and professional in their communications, I found it completely unfounded that Taylor decided to threaten me with deactivation of my account if I did not show up to my appointment. Once again, I have never had a blemish on my record, never tried to skirt the rules, never argued with anyone, never tried to get my medication early. The escalation from me being offered a telemedicine to me suddenly being a terrible, rule-breaking client was crazy. Additionally, my mom saw Dr. Agesen before I did. HE told HER that I could have a telemed. Given the office's lack of communication (over years at this point) + the power hungry qualities of the receptionists (news flash: you don't have a medical license), I do not believe a word you guys say."

"Dr Agesen is a real down to earth, caring, and thorough doctor. In this day and age I find to many dr's barely listen yo you unless you have GREAT insurance. This gentleman has helped me, and still is helping me, through one of the scariest times in my life. Thank you Dr Agesen. Rob M"
