"This nurse staff is incompetent!!! Everyone is rude, the called me girl instead of my name. I was receiving asthma treatment and no one explained how to take it. When I asked how to use it they sucked their teeth and said "don't have asthma"? I had to explain to her that I only was diagnosed with asthma 8 months ago. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I RETURN HERE!"

"Disturbing Lack of Professionalism and Accountability My experience at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital was absolutely unacceptable. The social worker, Afia Adigyaa, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, showing zero concern for patient welfare. Her supervisor, Luckdjyne Neas, made matters worse by ignoring multiple calls and emails when I tried to resolve serious discharge issues. They even blamed the patient for leaving medication behind, when it was clearly the hospital staff's responsibility to ensure all prescriptions were provided at discharge. This level of negligence and disregard for patient safety is alarming. The social worker /Discharge department urgently needs retraining and oversight -- no family should ever have to experience this kind of mistreatment or incompetence."
