"I am a big fan of Chinese medicine, especially combined with western medicine. Dana is so well trained in the classic Chinese method (and studied in China), that she is almost magical. Her ability to diagnose me, combined with her careful attention to my feelings and issues, makes every treatment so incredibly successful. She has helped me with pain management, stress management, and lately hot flashes due to the side effects of chemo. She really cares about her patients, is masterful in her recommendations of herbs (when necessary, to extend the effects of the treatments), and is an honest and trustworthy companion in my medical care. "I was skeptical for a long time to use acupuncture , but after one visit with Dana at Midwest Acupuncture, my opinion changed completely!. after having some pains in my fingers for over a year, it was suggested I try acupuncture. "Dana is a miracle worker. I have seen Dana for different ailments over the years, usually when Western Medicine fails. Dana is indispensible to feeling better for every medical condition. She has amazing listening and diagnosing skills. I recently was recovering from pnemonia and saw Dana to try and feel truly better even though my doctor said I just needed rest and patience since the antibiotics were done. Dana was able to tell I was suffering from shallow breathing (which also made it hard for me to rest) and gave me accupuncture and cupping treatments that opened my lungs back up after 1 session.
