"I was really impressed and comfortable with Dr "Henry". He listened to me and had read my records so he knew my history. He explained everything and made sure all my questions were answered. I now have a procedure scheduled with him in two weeks and I am fully informed and comfortable. His office is crazy busy but that is because he is so good and takes time with each patient."

"This is a great place for you if you want to feel like you're being treated like attic. This was my 1st appointment and being drug tested before I even fill out any paperwork. Then to hear from patients that are coming out of the back that are glad it only took 2 1/2 hours today to see the doctor and said they're normal over three hours. After 1.5 hours I get to leave and the front desk ask if you want to make your next appointment. Add after you tell them you are leave without see the doctor because of the long wait their answer to you get we can schedule you for a different appointment time. So they can waste your time some more."

"Smaller practice so there is a tendency you might be over booked but the friendly and caring staff are aware makenthe best of it. Ive been going for almost 4 years now getting my nerves obliterated (oblation). The process is quick and near painless. Highly recommend "

"This is a place I would never recommend. Unless you want to sit in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Then get called back to sit at another room for 40 minutes. The doctor I dealt with was not friendly. he made me feel like I was lying about everything wrong with me and did not take my concerns seriously, even with previous paperwork from other doctors explaining what was wrong with me and their recommendation."

"I always receive the best care from Dr. Henry and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Henry has continually tried to improve my back pain and I can honestly say my pain has improved on the one side and hopefully I will receive the same pain relief on the other side. I'm very satisfied with Dr. Henry. He has continually tried to relieve my pain. I'm very happy to have him as my doctor. During my recent visit to the office on 11/19/25, I continued to receive the same excellent service as I received previously. I can honestly say I am very happy that I selected Dr. Henry as well as his staff. I always receive the best care from Dr. Henry which is why I trust him with providing my care. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I have never had a bad experience when I visit the Maryland Pain Management office. "Dr. Henry Achampong is an amazing doctor and if this review was only about him, he would recieve 5 stars.. When I first saw Dr Henry in June 2025 my pain level was consistently between an 8/10 & 10/10, sometimes with spasms shooting pain all the way from my buttocks down my legs into my calves. These spasms could last up to an hour making it impossible to live a productive life. Due to other medical conditions, I'm unable to take any pain killers, only Tylenol is allowed. After three treatments of steroid shots at the pain starting points, my my pain level is anywhere from a 1/10 to 4/10, with no spasms. That said, this office schedules too many people for Dr. Henry to provide consultations and treatments at the scheduled times. I have waited anywhere from 1 hour up to 2 hours past my scheduled time to be seen by Dr. Henry. My last visit had to be canceled after I'd waited for over an hour for my appointment because I had another appointment scheduled 90 minutes later. If they can work out seeing patients within 30 minutes of their appointment, they would get 5 stars. This is an honest review and I mean no harm to this practice."
