Testimonials

Shaqur Khwaja

"Its been almost 4 years since my hip surgery and since then ive had pain in my hip where I didnt have originally before the surgery. I took an MRI around 2 years after surgery but he couldn't find anything and said it was just a little tendonitis which he said was normal. I tried to call his office to get in contact with him but they wont let me even speak with him. To book a 10 minute call with his PA takes 1-2 weeks. (His office was rude and unhelpful every time I dealt with them). I do NOT recommend going with Coleman as every other aspect besides the surgery is terrible. Even right after my surgery he did not stay at the hospital to tell me how the surgery went."

"" Great doctor with amazing staff" after suffering from severe hip pain for years. My friend advised me to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Struan Coleman at the hospital for special surgery. Dr. Coleman truly cares about his patients and took his time to diagnose my hip problem. He had an immediate plan of action and now I am 1 year post surgery. I am able to return to playing soccer without any setbacks. From start to finish everything was so amazing. I would recommend Dr. Coleman without reservation."

"Pros: seemed knowledgeable, polite/professional, calm, careful. Cons: maybe slightly overselling likelihood of a good outcomes, some answers to specific questions sounded over rehearsed/generic. Overall one of the more personable and polite orthopedic providers I've met. It's possible he was trying to sell me on having the surgery with him so I don't know whether he is always this pleasant , but I don't have any reason not to recommend him. His staff was acceptable in courtesy/professionalism in person, but a little less reliable over email/phone."
