Testimonials
"I wasn't there in the waiting area 15 minutes before I was called in for my vitals. In less the 10 minutes I was called to the back orange area. I was seen by a do tor within 28 minutes. X-rays and blood work were do e within an hour. I was amazed I received white glove service meaning quality care by people whom love what they do and care about what they do. The entire staff in that area even in the cubicles were patient, courteous, considerate, and knowledgeable to not only me as a patient but to several others in my surroundings. Thank you so much for you A-1 Quality Care it reminded me of how hospitals used to be in the 70's and 80's."
"I had to go to Harlem Hospital emergency room on Sunday afternoon 12/21/2025 due to a Chemical burn on my right thumb that occurred at work. Due to Harlem Hospital close proximity I thought this would be conducive considering the burn I had. I made it through the metal detector and proceeded to stand in line for intake. I entered the emergency room with a coId paper towel to keep my thumb cool because I was in pain. I ask a nurse who was entering the intake area could I get some water for my napkin. The nurse replied that she had no water. The pain from the Chemical burn was very intense. The security guard was heading to the bathroom. The bathroom was being occupied. I ask the security guard if he could Iet me in the 2nd bathroom. He responds saying he didn't have a key to the bathroom. I walked back towards to the intake line. The second nurse opened a door and I saw a sink. I ask her could she let me wet my paper towel. The second nurse responds that she "could not let me use the sink." I could not believe the inhumane treatment from two different nurses. I do not like Harlem Hospital because my grandma died at Harlem Hospital in November 2020. The team of nurses that was assigned her floor were incompetent. This event has really cemented my view of Harlem hospital. I will never set foot in the emergency room in Harlem Hospital ever again! To not be able to get assistance from two nurses was really the icing on the cake. I wrote this review because people need to know how rude and cruel those two nurses were to me while in pain."
"I needed help with my toothache,I called and was speaking to a young man who told me I was pass the point of walkin service, but when I mentioned the pain I was experiencing he informed me there would be a wait and to come in,I was so humbled by his care over the phone, then I arrived and the intake was fast ,xray tech was fantastic, then here comes Dr Swafasky the best caring dentist and his assistant, when I tell you the service was incredible and informative,in all my years of living in Harlem 20 years now, this is the first time I had a dentist that I didn't feel no pain during surgery,it was comfortable and fast,I was so impressed I had to write a review/ and the facility was so spotless clean!!!! Who says Harlem Hospital isn't a great experience is highly misleading!! I loved it ,can't wait for my next appointment"
