"My first experience with Dr Hembree was Jan 2020. I had slipped on black ice. I was brought to Harbor Hospital ER via ambulance. After x-rays/CT Scans I was diagnosed with a trimalleolar fracture and tibia dislocation. The PA who was assigned to me in the ER said he was contacting Dr Hembree, even though he was not on call, he is the best with this type of fracture. Dr Hembree reconstructed my ankle and I have had no pain or issues at all. Now to present day, I came back to Dr Hembree for a second opinion with an issue with my other ankle. I knew how much I trusted him and Alex, PA-C, that whatever he said needed to be done to correct and improve my ankle, I would agree to having done. On June 8th, I went through another extensive surgery, this time on my right ankle/foot. I needed to have a tendon transfer, calcaneal osteotomy and a gastrocnemius release. I am still in the process of healing but I am no longer feeling the pain that started Aug 2022. My insurance pays 100% if I would have stayed within Luminis Health. But I chose to pay the 20% of the surgery cost to have the best surgeon perform my surgery. You can not put a price on having 110% trust in a doctor. Dr Hembree is one of a kind. I cant say enough praise about him. ."

"I did not appreciate feeling as if Dr. Hembree thought I was not telling the truth. I twisted, turned, or rolled my ankle some how getting into my vehicle. Everything I said to him was the absolute truth of what happened. I have no reason to lie, because all I want is to walk without pain. I suffer every day with some level of pain. Some days are better than others. I guess it depends on how much I try to do. Since the Thursday this incident occurred, I have had excruciating pains shooting from under my heel up my Achilles. They are severe enough that if I don't hold on to something I will fall. As I was going down the stairs in my home to leave for work the next week, I had one of those pains, and fell/slipped down the last three steps. I was unable to put any weight on my left side, and had to crawl up the steps, and to my room to get into my bed. At this point I called my employer, and explained that I would not be able to come in. After waiting until I could at least walk enough to get myself to the car, I took myself to the ER. They put me out of work for a few days. Then I made an appointment for Dr. Hembree. Who I feel did not believe me. So, I would just like to say I truly wish Dr. Hembree could experience the pain that I indure on a daily basis. Not to mention the excruciating pain I've indured since this incident.
