"Was hoping to have a positive experience here. I was happy to hear that the $200 visit would go toward the PRP injection. After a bad office experience and some research I realized a lot of the information they are saying is false. Anything with amniotic fluid or stem cells has not been proven to be safe and effective. The PRP injection is proven to be effective but the nurse told me she has been better for two years. These injections don't last that long. They did not tell me what part of my knee they were going to inject it in and the recovery is based on this. The doctor doesn't work Fridays and expects me to be out of work for three days."

"I don't even know where to start ... if I could give 1000 stars I would. I am someone who has insane Dr. anxiety and to say that Dr. E eased my mind within the first 30 secs in an understatement . She was personable, kind, listened and gave me multiple options. I am forever grateful for her for sure! Shannon her assistant was a total sweetheart. I recommended this place 10/10. I look forward to continued visits with them and can't wait to get this knee under control! Thank you Dr.E and team!"

"I had a great experience with the Pain Institute in Glenview IL. I was injured on the job a year ago. I had a bad knee injury, that could have led to surgery. I was in a lot of pain and I barely could walk. I looked up the Softwave treatment. And it was a blessing, they specialize in no surgery and no injection. That was good to hear. I went to the Pain Institute 2 twice a week with my Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance coverage. I got laser treatment and exercise. I'm 100% now, I could not do stairs without pain. Now I can do stairs without mo problems. It took a while but I did it . These ladies are the best here at the pain Institute in Glenview IL, Shannon is super nice and very patient with me and also did my laser twice a week. Awesome experience the laser saved me from surgery. Samreon very nice and polite lady always called me the day before therapy to remind me. Dr. Mariam El-Baghdad was very nice and came in and examined my knee injury and made recommendations. I am so happy that I came here and would recommend anyone to the Pain Institute in Glenview IL only. Wonderful experience, the rest of the staff are great. The Pain Institute is the best in the entire city of Glenview IL. Very happy that I came there."

"I'm very disappointed in service I was provided. While their stuff is very nice the service I received had zero impact on improvement of my condition. Also, they persuaded me to do an injection that cost $700 and had no effect at all. If you want a nice conversation probably it is a good place, however, if you want to receive a professional medical treatment and real help DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. This was a very disappointing experience and waste of time/money."

"Was referred to PRI by a family member with similar issues, chronic knee pain. Got an appointment, met with the doctor and agreed to the procedure (P2P and gel shots). During treatment I did their PT regimen which was conducted by a couple different therapists. Everyone I interacted with here was friendly and knowledgeable of what their mission was. Bottom line, I got the relief I sought and my knees haven't felt like this in years."

"I am giving this place 3 stars because the front office staff, although nice is really disorganized. My experience with PT has been exceptional. My experience here has been one mess up after another not respecting my time or commitments. First of all the front office needs to use their name when they are answering the phone. They also need to stop and listen to your questions before answering your question. My very first appointment I was asked to come 30 minutes early because they were trying to get out of the office early and I arrived early, leaving work and wasn't brought into a room until 1 hour later. I then waited in the room for another hour before seeing the Dr. 2.5 hours later and I was on my way home and missed another critical appointment that I had scheduled nearby. I then had a procedure scheduled and had questions about medicine interactions. The front office person said... oh you'll be fine. After two weeks of chasing down an answer from the Dr. or a Nurse I finally called one of the other offices and told her my concerns and I got a call back with an answer. The day I arrived for my procedure I was told the equipment had not arrived and it wouldn't happen today. A phone call to tell me this would have been appropriate. Thank goodness I had PT also scheduled for the same time. Although I wouldn't again, have left work to take a PT appointment in the middle of the day. I was rescheduled for another appointment for the procedure during a time that I was previously told the Dr isn't in. I was again assured by the same front office staff that it would be fine. Today I received a confirmation call from another staff member for my PT appointment. When I asked who would be doing my procedure she told me that the DR isn't in that day and there was no procedure scheduled. I have been waiting about 1 month to have this procedure and now have to wait another week and take more time away from work. Mistake after mistake on the front end staff's end. Stop. Pay attention. Listen to your patients. If I didn't need this procedure so bad I would cancel all together."

"Fantastic staff and excellent doctor. This facility has curbed my knee pain and I couldn't be more grateful. From the front desk to the PT staff and chiropractor and physician, I actually enjoy coming here. They are incredibly professional and they listen. I HIGHLY recommend the Pain Relief Institute!"

"I love this place. All the therapists are very professional and friendly. I particularly like the massage with the pain relieving ingredients. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. The doctor also has been very helpful with some different suggestions to try to get rid of the constant pain in my knee. Been 2 and 1/2 years since my total knee replacement. I thought I had tried everything to get rid of the constant pain but he had more ideas. Some prayers please that at least on treatment will work."
