Testimonials
"Had seen two local very well known orthopedics in my area over last several years did Therapy, everything they told me medication nothing worked even had one of them tell me nothing was wrong with my back even after having an MRI after giving up, I booked a third opinion at HSS. Immediately upon reviewing my MRI my back had collapsed. My spine was collapsing on itself by this time I was losing the use of my right leg. It was an excruciating pain for the last couple years, but pushed through the pain. Immediately after surgery my pain was relieved. I'm grateful for them listening to me when the two well known orthopedics practices in Ocean County NJ , did not. Hospital views were great."
"We had a wonderful experience with my son's surgery at HSS with Dr. Kelly's team. The entire medical team were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. They explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The surgery went smoothly and the care we received was outstanding. We are very grateful! My son is already in less daily pain than before surgery. His smile is bright!"
"I am a physician who graduated from medical school in 1984, so I have spent most of my adult life both providing medical care and, at times, receiving it. This time at HSS it was minimally invasive lumbar decompression surgery. With that background, I have interacted with thousands of physicians over the years. In that context, I can say without hesitation that my experience at the Hospital for Special Surgery was exceptional. In my view, truly great physicians combine qualities that are not often found together. These include thoughtful intelligence, genuine humanity, the ability to listen, and the ability to explain complex medical issues clearly and without condescension. In surgical fields, this must also be matched by high-level technical skill. It is uncommon to encounter someone who brings all of these elements together in one clinician, and Dr. Kyle Morse is very much one of those rare individuals. He conveys confidence that is grounded in humility rather than arrogance, and that combination matters enormously when you are in that vulnerable position as a patient, and really need to trust your doctor. I genuinely mean it when I say that everyone we interacted with made both my wife and me feel that we were in very good hands. The care felt seamless, thoughtful, and well-coordinated. Having run a healthcare organization myself, I know how difficult it is to achieve that level of consistency. What we experienced reflects not only excellent clinicians, but strong leadership and well-designed systems behind the scenes. If we ever need surgery again, and HSS provides the care required, there is quite simply nowhere else we would consider going."
