"This is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons in Manhattan. The reason he's getting 3 stars is because he has an extremely disrespectful assistant named Hillary who prefers to give patients attitude and not get back to them when they've had a total right knee replacement and they need paperwork done so that my job will be protected, but that's not on the top of priorities for this assistant. Before I even knew her name, I addressed her as Dr. Oh's assistant because that's how the doctor referred to her to me as his assistant. So I referred to her as an assistant she felt a little disrespected maybe I don't know. But ever since then, no matter how many emails I send this person no matter what I need done she refuses to call me as well as refusing to send me an email. I don't know if he's getting my email because I've never gotten his email address I only got his assistants email address because hence the word " Assistant". I really hate giving this kind of review especially because the doctor is so amazing but they need to do better with the kind of staff they hire. Especially because there supposed to deal with patients in vulnerable situations. People in this field need to be kind and empathetic. All the things she is not. not only did she do everything I just said, but instead of calling me and speaking to me, she hands off the phone to another person working in the office named Teresa and Teresa was trying her best to accommodate the situation, but it was hard for her to do, being that she didn't know anything that I've been going through. On top of all that when I just called the office 23 days ago I literally heard Hillary over the phone saying she did not want to speak to me and for Teresa to speak to me she is the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. If I was treated with more respect or with urgency, I may give more stars, but as long as that woman Hillary is working at that office. You better believe that none of your paperwork will be getting done in a timely manner."

"Dr. Oh did my mother's hip replacement surgery about a year ago. The surgery was truly remarkable. All the doctors, nurses and physical therapists who saw my mother afterwards was amazed at how good the cuts and stitches looked. There was literally no swelling at all in her operated hip and leg, only a little bit in the foot which went away pretty quickly. Prior to the operation, Dr. Oh had thoroughly explained to us all the benefits and risks related to the surgery, as well as what to expect in the lengthy recovery period. Thanks to his impeccable skills and expertise, my mother recovered extremely well, and everything turned out to be exactly as he had told us previously. Thank you, Dr. Oh. You are the best!"

"Had my left hip replaced and Dr. Oh was absolutely incredible! He was extremely exact in his approach and expectations. His work is remarkable! I healed ahead of schedule all thanks to him and his amazing team! I can understand why some people leaving reviews have something to say about his personality and/or his arrogance. Hell yeah - I want my surgeon to have hutzpah and NOT blow sunshine in my face. I would not want him to be my waiter at a Michelin restaurant but damn well do want him as my surgeon!!!!"
