Athletico Physical Therapy - Daley Plaza

"I have been working with Jean Cofino for many months after I suffered a dislocated shoulder. Jean is a caring, very talented, thoughtful and skillful physical therapist. You know that she cares about you. You know that she has a carefully prepared plan. You know that she has the experience and knowledge to guide you to functional improvement and eventually normality. You can trust Jean. She is also a very pleasant and upbeat person. There are other physical therapists at this location, and although I have not worked with the, I am sure that under Jean's management, they are quite talented and knowledgeable. The other personnel (administrative and assistants) in this facility are also very pleasant, friendly and efficient with scheduling, reminders and all-around good management. The facility is physically smaller than some other locations, but this is an advantage. You feel like you are with family when you are there. There is a definite sense of comradery. In sum, if you hurt, this is the place to go!!"

"Do not recommend! Staff seems inexperienced, secretary has awful attitude! When you have to cancel your appointments the secretary loves to charge you, almost as though that's the highlight of her day...(I have personally witnessed her conversations with staff regarding client cancellations when she gets off the phone.) but when "THEY" as in she...forgets to reschedule your appointment...she refuses to take blame and still charges you! So watch out they WILL OVER CHARGE YOU as they did to me. I have even called their customer service center...and they said.. quote "The only way to dispute the charge is at that very same location with the staff there!" So that explains her attitude! On top of over charging me, they never really fixed the problem...I kept telling them my elbow felt better when I DIDN'T come to the appointments regularly...They said that didn't make any sense, because you need to come in regularly if I wanted to the "treatment" to work. Well needless to say, I stopped going regularly began coming in 1x week, which they weren't happy about...then saying the hell with this...and I completely cancelled all future appointments! Glad I did, within a few weeks I was back to normal?? Can't say whether THEIR treatment had anything to do with it, I feel like they just didn't listen to me...maybe it did, maybe not but I wouldn't of ever wrote this review had that Secretary CHARGE Nazeee never over charged me...the staff seems too young and inexperienced, and the secretary seems too old & bitter to be there...probably needs to retire. I'm sure she still works there btw...gray haired lady, probably in her early 60s maybe even late 50s. Be careful with her. If you do come to this location...word of advice! Make sure if you cancel or reschedule appointments you write down the Secretary Nazeee name and time you spoke to her!"
