"After my second c-section, I was referred to Phoenix for physical therapy. I was debating on whether I should even go since I was recovering from surgery and felt like I had little time since I was adjusting to life with two little ones. I am so glad that I went. I cannot say enough good things about Phoenix, especially one of their experienced PT's, Emily Pavelko! Having never done PT, I honestly didn't know what to expect. When I first walked in, I noticed that the facility was very clean and organized. The equipment was stacked neatly in specific places, and there was enough space for more than a couple of clients to do their PT. Since I had gone specifically to PT for pelvic floor therapy, I was "assigned" to Emily. When I first met her, she greeted me with the warmest smile and greeting. I felt immediately at ease with her, and during our first meeting, we went over my medical history and I relayed my concerns with my recovery. She was attentively listening and I felt heard! She asked follow-up questions, and I knew that I was in wonderful, extremely capable hands. For the next several weeks, I developed some back pain (since I was carrying my baby), and Emily was on point with the exercises that really relieved my pain. Since I also teach dance classes, she knew that my goal was to be able to go back to teaching with as little discomfort as possible. She worked with me, since I had more severe pain on one side of my back, and ensured that I did not go overboard with trying to do too much at once. During our sessions, we would chat, and she would always remember things we talked about the following week -- what a gem! Emily, and their receptionist, Neeka, have always been so kind and helpful. Emily was always there to answer my questions, even late at night/early in the morning. And as a mom of two little ones, I really appreciated this. It is really bittersweet to say that though I am so ecstatic that Emily led me on the road to a full recovery, I am very sad that I don't get to see her weekly anymore. On my last class, she printed out my exercises (I am a tech dinosaur and never used the app), and color coded which exercises to focus on (my toddler spilled water on this which is why it may be blurry)! She truly cares for her patients, and I never once felt like a number or a checkmark off her schedule. Phoenix is so lucky to have her, and any future clients are super lucky to have her as well. Though I hope that I won't have any other injury in the future, if I do, I know where to go!"

"I have been going to Phoenix PT for nearly 9 months now following my TTO knee surgery in January and I want to sing Emily's praises. I have done PT several times in the last 5 years at different clinics and she is absolutely the best PT I have ever had. She's super knowledgeable and extremely warm. She has been instrumental in my recovery and I wouldn't have been able to recover at the rate I did without her. She's challenges her patients in so many good way and is overall amazing. I couldn't recommend her enough. She is worth her weight in gold and Phoenix is lucky to have such an awesome PT on their staff."

" 5-STAR REVIEW -- IF YOU ARE READING THIS, BOOK WITH EMILY! After an emergency surgery, I was dealing with pelvic floor pain, weakness, and a lot of fear about whether I'd ever feel "normal" again. I felt lost, frustrated, and honestly a little embarrassed by what my body was doing and not doing. Finding Emily at Phoenix PT ended up being a major pivotal part of my recovery. She's not only incredibly knowledgeable about pelvic floor and women's health, but she approaches every session with compassion, patience, humor, and genuine care. I always felt safe, heard, and understood which is rare and so important, especially after surgery and when your confidence takes a major hit. Emily was monumental in helping me reconnect with my body in a way I never expected. She celebrated the small wins, reminded me that healing isn't linear, and taught me SO much about how my body works. I saw Emily for almost a year, and in that time I grew stronger, more confident, and finally believed I would get my life back. PT was more than often the highlight of my week. My pain has decreased dramatically, my function has improved significantly, and I feel hopeful and capable again. I truly don't know where I'd be without her guidance, validation, and support! I am endlessly grateful! For any woman recovering from surgery or dealing with pelvic floor issues: please advocate for yourself and seek pelvic floor PT. I wish someone had told me sooner that this kind of care even existed. It's not "just in your head," it's not "normal to just deal with," and you're not alone. One of the many things Emily has taught me :) Pelvic floor PT matters more than people realize, and Emily is the kind of specialist who changes outcomes. Also, a huge shoutout to Rae and Nika at the front desk -- they made scheduling, insurance, and the logistics easy during our time. Their kindness made such a difference and I appreciated them more than they know. I'm deeply grateful for Phoenix PT, and especially for Emily. If you're considering it, go. You deserve this kind of care, validation, and healing."

"Absolutely loved my time at Phoenix Physical Therapy! I received a referral from my primary care doctor after a hip injury I sustained while running. I had put off seeing anyone for a couple of weeks and tried to rehab at home, but after weeks of not being able to run more than a mile or two, I sought help. From day one working with Kayla and later Sarah, they helped me strengthen my hip and get me back running again. They even helped support me through all of my aches, pains, and soreness while training for my marathon. I recently just completely that marathon with a ten minute PR! and a few weeks later completed a 50 mile ultra marathon. Truly wouldn't have been possible without the help of Sarah, Kayla, and the entire team at Phoenix. Thank you two so much! I would recommend them to anyone!"

"I had such a great experience with Emily doing pelvic floor physical therapy during my pregnancy and post partum! She is so knowledgeable and meets you where you're at with all your questions and concerns. I had an extremely smooth labor and delivery process and I credit some of that to the exercises Emily taught me! Highly recommend."

"Elliot was great! I went in with back pain from a muscle strain and Elliot was super attentive to my progress. He worked with my to find a balance between pushing myself with the exercises and listening to my body. Even if it was busy-- he would take the time to explain any questions I had!"

"Sarah Aoyama and Katlah have been very supportive and caring with my treatment of my two recent injuries. While I am still under treatment, the treatments that I have received have been successful and have gotten me almost fully functional again."
